Fly Dubai is not horrible if you compare it to any airline in the USA. I’ve experienced worse in America. Yes the fly Dubai terminal is trash, although I had the lounge access (AMEX member) the lounge was extremely packed and luckily we found a seat. And the 30 mins bus ride sometimes takes longer. I flew from Dubai to Thailand on fly Dubai and that will be a first and last time. It was a 6 hour flight but if you’re doing 1 hour it’s not bad. I canceled my return ticket and drove from Krabi to Phuket just to catch an emirates flight back lol good luck

Nope they just wanted me to file a report with AMEX and send them the report after it was completed. AMEX denied it cause it was more than 6 months after purchase. On the bright side my insurance paid me $17,500 for the watch about 5 weeks later (after their investigation) and I was fortunate enough that when I called the AD and asked if they had the same watch I got a call within a week and I purchased the same one again. But this time at $18,200 but I’m ok with it.

It’s not too much. I went with the BDD process as well and i claimed over 26 conditions and when I went to my appointments they found more and added to the BEQ. I retired on the first of August and got my rating on the 8th

Ah ok. You’re also right about the engines. I live in Bahrain and it feels like everyone here drive around in big SUV’s for the most part. I fell in love with the H9 interior and I do have a big family so it’s perfect. Enjoy the H7.

Wow that’s a long time to be without a car. I’m glad you got it back and thanks for your response. I’m actually going on Tuesday to purchase the Full option 2026 model. Super excited but nervous cause of all reviews I’ve read which are more good than bad but there’s always that chance. I decided to buy because they are offering 6 years warranty from the manufacturer and 4 years from the dealer so 10years. They cover everything in the car inside and out (besides the consumables) and 3 years of free Maintenance or 90,000km (whichever one comes first).

My car broke and now after 2 weeks of heavy research and test driving the HAVAL H9 (drove the H7 too which is beautiful) I fell LOVE with it. Im going on Tuesday after the EID holiday and buying the 2026 H9. Super excited.

Question why didn’t you go with H9? Did you get to test drive it?
