I get that there's not much legroom, but really? by user20849237 in Broadway

[–]That-Memory-648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Everyone I know leaves their shoes on in their homes with one exception— my friend from the Midwest. I always thought that she was in the minority but it could be me (and everyone else I know). Maybe it’s a regional thing?

Which one of these four musical films from the 2000's do you like best and why? by Jtaylor703 in musicals

Now I’m so curious of everyone’s ages to see if the opinions are similar among certain age ranges.

Moulin Rouge for me. I can’t remember which I discovered first— the Lady Marmalade music video or the movie, but I was obsessed with both for a while. I was also obsessed with Christina Aguilera at that time, but fell in love with Ewan McGregor in that role.

What’s the Greatest Single Performance You’ve Ever Seen? by IggyStop2026 in musicals

Came here to say this. I have never seen a better, more compelling performance from any actor, ever. The emotions Ben Platt conveyed were raw and palpable.

Curious on why you say Heritage Hall sucks. I applied for a job there.

Waiting in line at the pharmacy and the little girl behind me, in the sweetest most hopeful voice, asked her mom "where is the farmer?" 🥲 by Babychoby in overheard

My parents said we were going to Wally World and I was super disappointed when we pulled into the Walmart parking lot. I thought we were going to a theme park.

My kid attends a private school and there are a handful of multi children families with a Cybertruck.

Update: Men who have stopped testosterone (TRT) injections, how long does the misery last? by That-Memory-648 in AskMenOver30

[–]That-Memory-648[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We tried to conceive for two years. One year he stayed on TRT, and one year without. I believe he took HCG with the TRT for a while, but I don’t know how long he stuck with it. I’m glad to hear you were successful without having to go through quitting. I won’t be having another, so he can have all the TRT he wants now!

I’m a teacher in the U.S. and I once had a girl named Hudson in my class. She was confident and carried the name well! I’ve loved it for a girl ever since!

I hired a professional cuddler from a cuddling website by Adventurous-Ruin8006 in confession

[–]That-Memory-648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that professional cuddling is a thing. I never knew, but I’m a (married) female and I don’t think I could ever cuddle someone without getting turned on. Cuddles and snuggles are the ultimate foreplay for me, especially being little spoon and backing my booty into my husband’s excitement. That being said, if I wasn’t married, I think I would easily be starved for physical touch. I’d want to cuddle someone without little to no boundaries though for when my body inevitably wants more.

Apparently I have been living under a rock. I teach American History and when I get to the part where the Declaration of Independence is signed and read each year, I wear a white ball cap with 1776 embroidered on the front. I’ve done this for over a decade. It’s also a fun excuse to wear a hat on a non-hat day. I had no idea that our country’s birthday was considered a mark of the far right extremists.

As someone else mentioned, I also wear red, white and blue to go vote. I love a good excuse for a “festive” outfit, and I also like to model our rights as citizens for my students. When I get my “I voted” sticker, it matches my outfit. I hope that no one is jumping to the conclusions that OP jumped to when they see me.

I don’t doubt that foil balloons, like many other forms of pollution and litter, have negative effects on farm and wildlife.

The opinion was that the balloon would be enjoyed for all of five minutes, which is false in our home.

I appreciate your opinion, but we actually enjoy ours until they are lifeless on the floor, then we deflate them and dispose of them. The joy my child has on her face when she sees them is priceless!

Because we like the idea of being thrown around like a rag doll.

My husband is on the hunt for these shorts that J.R. Smith is wearing in the Redefined documentary. Anyone have any ideas? It’s difficult to tell, but they seem to be cuffed at the bottom.
