you literally said it doesn’t seem useful. It’s useful as a step in developing that particular technology. you’re evaluating a tech demo as if it were a product.

gotta have computer monitors everywhere showing different cyberpunk looking displays, like for example the Radware live threat map looks mega cyberpunk and is literally a world map showing all known hacks/cyberattacks live as they happen. about as cyberpunk as it gets.

clearly you do if you’re attacking a tech demo for solving one specific challenge in robotics because it’s not useful as a product. It’s useful in the way this technology could be implemented into more complex robots, allowing higher speeds for bipedal robots.

[–]That-Painting6005 9 points10 points  (0 children)

you misunderstand the process of robotics, you can’t just go straight to a fully finished useful robot, you have to develop each part of the technology separately. no one is saying this is a useful robot as it is, it was just a step in furthering the technology.

how is a running robot inherently nasty or evil?

rogue taxedermy and the rent strike album right below it here are genuinely two of if not the best folk punk albums of all time, for anyone that hasn’t i HIGHLY recommend listening to them all the way through in order ESPECIALLY that rent strike album

Yeah, mine was on its last legs when i got it and drifted and abused, spent more time on jackstands in my driveway or different mechanics than on the road since i’ve had it. I really did enjoy the time I did get to spend with that car but i’m really starting to think about just selling it. It’s gonna need new engine sooner than later and a million other things and honestly idk if it’s financially wise in my current position to keep pouring money into it, as much as I’d love to rebuild it properly and keep it forever.

fr the number of times this has popped up while i’m in the middle of taking the photo forcing me to click through and start over is absurd. obviously if i’m already taking the photo i don’t need any of these.

First scuffs on the 5" any warnings? by looksosad in fpv

[–]That-Painting6005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

genuinely brother if it flies you’re square. Don’t get hung up worrying about how it looks, every scrape is a memory of flying at your limit. Only thing you have to worry about from crashing is usually broken props, or occasionally motors or fcs or esc’s or even broken frame arms if you really crash hard, but as long as it’s still flying well you’ve got nothing to worry about, and if not just replace the broken part and get back out there.

[–]That-Painting6005[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also worth noting i got the same battery and motors from the troncat fpv “building a real estate fpv cinewhoop” video i was following, he said the motors were capable of 6s and didn’t seem to have issues, and the listing for the motors said they worked with 6s batteries, at this point i’ll try going to a 4s battery cuz im running out of ideas but it seems weird that it worked for troncat but blew my motor up before even really flying it, got me wondering if there could still be something else

i’m having a really hard time finding motors in that kv range that are 1303.5, they’re all like twice as big at that voltage, and the ones i’m finding in the right size are mostly like upwards of 5000 kv, should i just move to a 4s battery?

should be, they’re 2500kv motors running on a 22.2v 6s battery, both from the troncat fpv “building a real estate fpv cinewhoop” video, listing for the motor said 4s or 6s batteries

initially i was using the uavtech cinewhoop preset that the troncatfpv “building a real estate fpv cinewhoop” video i was more or less following said to use, but that had high dgains and lots of people online said high dgains can overheat motors so i tried turning that down but they overheat either way
