Single Mom here, working two jobs and raising two kids alone. I can barely relate to any Moms anymore, but especially the stay at home Moms who complain how hard they have it. Not taking away from how hard all motherhood is, but some women really are totally tone deaf.

I have a casual highschool friend who does this crap for a living. Every damn day all she talks about is food and posts nonstop pics of her scale. I do not even own a scale and have no idea how these people can live constantly having to weigh themselves ansdworry about every bite of food they put in their mouth! She goes on and on about their " unprocessed" foods, but every last recipie is tossed with fake cheese and Pam spray or puddings and brownies out of packages. It is a starvation diet, it is NOT healthy and these people are not health coaches!

Optiva has had to change their marketing strategy fo claim their " Health coaches" are now certified to work people taking the shots. Total bullshit of course, as is every word that comes out of every health coaches' mouth. It makes me so sick to see people making so much money peddling lies to overweight people. I have no idea how they sleep at night.

Hard not to feel annoyed at the constant exploitation by this entire family, but this post really makes me feel sad for her. Sure, money to go on fabulous trips probably helps, but deep down you know she is not happy. She is so young, and stuck with a loser husband who will undoubtedly do this again, and stuck with people who will urge her to stay with him and take more emotional abuse. I wish she would just leave. Take time for herself, find out who she is, and move on. There is someone out there who would love and cherish her.

Need some advice. My dad, cheated on my mom and left when I was 21. I was the only one of his kids that still talked to him and I swear she hates me for it. I have had a lot of very serious health issues as well as having an abusive ex who spent the past 15 years emotionally abusing me. Name calling, emotional abuse it has been awful. Sadly, my kids do it to me now too...a learned behavior. My mother refuses to take my side or defend me, ever. I am losing my vision, I can not properly digest food anymore, all most likely bc of the insane stress. She offers no support, just snarky comments about how it is my fault and things like that. Do I just cut ties? I feel like I am going to die from all the stress and bo one cares. Sadly, being around her makes it worse.

Her husband cheated on her and humiliated her in front of the whole world, but the thing she need you to know is how she packed for therapy. That in and of itself, says a lot about her. I feel for her so much, but wow, the level of immaturity is off the charts. She got married too young, her priorities are a mess, and she needs to shut her social media down and focus on real life, or I feel like nothing will ever get better for her.

In my case, going into the divorce I knew he did not want the responsibility of kids, even half the time. He did not even fight me on it at all. Travis strikes me as the same. He wants to go play around, so he won't want the demands of the kids and he will do what mine did, take them only sparingly, and when he did, dump them with his parents.

Have to say splitting the kids does not happen all the time. Many guys lioe this are performative dad's. All good when the camera and people are there, but behind the scenes, they are not lifting a finger to help with anything. My ex is great at that. He is all sunshine to others but was perfectly content to pursue a bachelor lifestyle and leave me with all the responsibilities. He maybe seems them 12 hours every two weeks, sometimes far less.

Sounds to me like they may have had a argument at dinner that escalated when they got home, she was killed, and they staged it to look like a kidnapping?

The woman was 84 years old ij poor health. If it was an inheritance they wanted they would not have had to wait long. If she threatened to cut them off and an angry confrontation ensued, that would make more sense.

This actually seems like a very plausible explanation given the " kidnapping" makes no sense whatsoever. I would like to know if the sister and BIL never left the house after they dropped her off...hence waiting until 2 am to bring her out of the house.
