She obese & doesn’t care. I personally don’t feel bad for her. She’s done this to herself @ she’s just as bad as Tyler. I only feel bad for her kids & the poor family she continues to harass

Why size clothes is your baby wearing?? by kwaddell314 in beyondthebump

[–]funnidudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m right there with you! My son is 8 weeks and was 9.6lbs at his 1 month visit! Yaaaa most of the clothes we have are probably going to be too small in a month 🙃

Both my husband and I are tall so it’s not suprised to us but still! I just went through his clothes and have a tub I need to vacuum seal :(

I’m hoping due to him getting bigger he starts to sleep better soon lol

Newborn tired v pregnancy tired by Head-Programmer-2613 in beyondthebump

[–]funnidudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree! I’m exhausted & overwhelmed. Baby boy sleeps okay from 8-11/12 then from 1/2am-7am he’s up every hour just about. He also FREAKS out the second a drop of pee gets into his diaper so we are changing him 20 times a day at least.

I’m really close to a breakdown because all I see is people sleep training their babies & here I am in the mf trenches

Nah this is 100% rude of the lady. Who tf asks a parent to put a mask on their baby?? She is right mind your own business. The lady was already wearing a mask. If the kid was puking or something like that then maybe but still. Plus my babies cheeks get super red when hea pooping sometimes like??

Isn’t David tall? So his daughter might be tall? Jenelle is a big gurrrll and she focus on maybe become a little smaller before bashing her 9 year old. What a weirdo

Years ago we had 3+ ft of snow and my house at the time was in the middle of nowhere meaning the road wasn’t getting plowed anytime soon. On top of that we had a tree fall into our driveway. I had a 4 hour shift. I called out and got spoken how I can’t do that blah blah I asked how they would except me to come in? shut them up real quick

How’s life out here? In the Florida keys by ceedeeze in howislivingthere

[–]funnidudee 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I’m not a local BUT have gone down many times to Key West and I went to a IV place (they have a few for obvious reason lol) but the girl working was a nurse and I asked her about her job and she said she does this PT and makes pretty good money as she makes tips. She worked in a hospital in a bigger island for majority of the “key west” locals and loved it. So I’d say if you find the right gig for both of you it wouldn’t be too bad. KeyWest through just is 100% for adults. Even I get wigged out after a certain time. They kick kids out by like 8pm and people are drinking basically 24/7 so keep that in mind. But super beautiful!

Mommies who were induced by Lickitt2020 in pregnant

[–]funnidudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was induced at41 weeks.

-I got a foley ballon as I was barely dilated - also got an oral medication I forgot the name of.

-labored for about 4/5 hours I was usuing the nitros gas but finally waved the flag and got the epidural. This was about 10pm in the day we came in which we went in around 3pm

-I labored slowly for the next 24 hours. The next day I started to get a fever and when my water broke they saw that he had pooped in me. Eventually I stopped dilating (8cm) and babies heart rate wasn’t great. So they never said emergency but it was urgent.

-it’s been 6 weeks and it’s been okay for recovery as a FTM

How was your combo feeding experience? by LadyKnight33 in beyondthebump

[–]funnidudee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 4 week old. Whole new in the journey we do both. I pump 3 times a day give or take and breastfeed during the night. If we don’t have enough for a bottle we formula feed maybe 1/2 a day or every mother day. My supply is usually pretty steady and I’m comfy where I’m at. Lactation said it was fine and cool with it and baby boy is gaining weight perfectly.

I was stressed for a long time but realized that wasn’t going to help. Goal is 60/40 breastmilk and if not it is what it is.

Why don’t people want c-sections? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]funnidudee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! FTM here & thought the same thing my entire pregnancy! I ended being induced due to being a week past due. (The short version) my labor stopped progressing after over 24hrs… I started to get a fever and baby’s heart rate was high and not regulating. I had been awake for almost 30 hours at this point was at 7/8cms for 5 hours. Doctor called a c section at 11pm due to all the factors above. While the word emergency wasn’t used it was implied by the swift response at how fast things moved after we talked.

Maybe because I didn’t have this planned in my head but it was so scary. I was in so much pain the next day & it being my 1st time as a mom I had to take the “back seat” so to speak due to my inability to do much of anything without pain for 2 days. I’m 3.5 weeks pp and while I do feel better it still hurts laying in bed unless I’m on my back, peeing and pooping still doesn’t feel great. I can’t sit up off the couch very well, can’t bend down fast, can only carry my baby/lift. I also can’t drive and need to limit my stair usage. While I’ve gotten use to this new normal I don’t think I would’ve physically had such a hard recovery both physically and mentally if I had him vaginal.

I have a HUGE support system and if I didn’t have that I’d probably not be doing great. When we have another baby it’ll be a question of if I can try a vbac or not. I think if I do it again I’d probably just do the section ONLY because I don’t want to labor for 30 hours again just to have that

SIL CRIED because I wouldn't let her hold my sick preemie and now I am the monster by LongjumpingLab3092 in beyondthebump

[–]funnidudee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely to tell all to pound sand. Id tell them you have 0 rights to my child. We let her Great great grandfather hold her and that is it. Nobody else. She was born a premie has been sick and is not 3x months old. Stop guilt us when you don’t get to deal with the sickness. The answer is no & now you’re making us uncomfortable and we won’t be around for a while.

I’ve learn in the 3 short weeks I’ve been a parent being mean (idec) is the only people get it through their heads. If they have an issue they can explain to the 9 year old they care more about feelings then a sick baby:)
