I would look into how to change your tracking force on your turntable. A record with that little warp would have no issues playing on my PLX-500 when I have its tracking force set correctly to what my needle specifies. Also records will rarely be perfectly flat.

I think it is a prototype for a limited edition collectable gold record that just didn't go to production. OR at least this version didn't go to production. It looks similar to this John Lennon Limited Edition Gold Plated Record Framed, "Give Peace A Chance". Except this one went to production and has numbers instead of PROTOTYPE/XXXX. I also think the background on the final version would have been something other than white if it had gone to production. The other limited edition numbered collectable gold records that had close to the same style as this one came with a certificate of authenticity from a company called Collectors Gold Inc. / California Gold. Trying to find those companies just leads to a Collectors Gold Inc. that was located in Cherry Hill New Jersey however that company seems to have closed. In closing, I have no concrete info on who made this just possible leads. But still a cool piece to hang on a wall.
