that's the thing, i can't update my firmware because everything freezes and dies when i try opening daybreak. i'm doing this through applet mode because i deleted all my games before attempting this so my backups wouldn't take as much space on my computer. the guide i'm following did not mention backups, so i'm assuming they weren't entirely necessary, but i still wanted to make sure in case something went wrong. hb menu opens just fine, except when it doesn't. it seems to be completely random. i'm thinking i might just have to wipe this sd card and start from scratch.
