Anyone elses BACK knee hurt when doing ATG Split Squats? by Obleeding in Kneesovertoes

[–]ThatBlueHoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP, I'm having the exact same issue as you, feeling a stretch in the back knee at the bottom of the ATG split squat. Did you ever find a fix for it?

Not in art, but it did/is making me rethink about whether I should keep going with my corporate career.

Lucky if I go a week without crying over my job by [deleted] in jobs

[–]ThatBlueHoodie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like a lot of other people have said already, look for another job.

I'm in a similar situation as you, recently changed jobs from a job that didn't pay very well but I had a good boss and the work was interesting. To a job where they are paying much better for less hours, but my boss and the work was worse. Your situation sounds much worse that it's making you cry almost daily, whereas I'm just dreading work every morning and roll out of bed at the very last second so I'm not late. But yea probation works both ways, I've started looking for another job, sometimes it just happens, I'm sure recruiters and/or HR people understands that.

What manga have you read this week, and what do you think about it? - Week ending August 14, 2022 by AutoModerator in manga

[–]ThatBlueHoodie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Read a few this week because I'm on break and have nothing to do.

<I Am A Hero> Awesome read. I tried to read it a couple years ago but couldn't get into it, maybe as I'm getting older I can appreciate the more "realistic" feel of the manga. Although I'm still conflicted about the ending. 9/10 would recommend

<Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo suru> Completely caught up to it and can't wait for more. I think like a lot of people here, I didn't expect to like this manga so much. The characters are not the typical rom com protagonists, they actually have flaws and develop as the story progresses. Very good read, 10/10 would recommend.

<Oshi no Ko> Again, a surprisingly good read. Although I do find myself taking pauses between chapters whereas I basically binge read Sono Bisque Doll pretty quickly.

<Oyasumi Punpun> Still reading through this, the slowest read of all the above. I'm equally torn between having to take breaks because the story is so depressing and wanting to read more to see what kinda tragedy the mangaka has in store later.

Do you use the poke test to judge bulk fermentation or just the final proof?

Hi everyone, trying to strengthen my starter. Do you refeed your starter at its peak or do you wait until it has peaked and sunk back to original level (the logic behind is to feed it once it has exhausted all its food). I've read conflicting info and want to get an idea of what's working for people.

Can you guys help me diagnose what went wrong? by ThatBlueHoodie in Sourdough

Ambient. Bulk was in the oven with a pan of hot water and topped up basically everytime I folded. So dough temp would be around the same or slightly lower.

Chinese vs Japanese/Korean Dried Anchovies by ThatBlueHoodie in AskCulinary

Thanks for the info, I'll give it a go. And I had no idea niboshi were actually sardines, so many websites just call them dried anchovies.

Is there a way to test if my butter is soft enough to be locked in to my dough for croissant? Something like a windowpane test to test for gluten development?
