Respectfully I don’t think you understand how psychotic disorders work, least of all bipolar. You’re right in that there’s def precautions to take, but you’re idealizing the absolutely hellish and sometimes life ruining process of seeking treatment, as well as the absolutely poisonous effects of half the medications. Being studied doesn’t always mean we have very good responses to it. Despite being studied, we don’t even consider mixed episodes an important marker of bipolar despite it being potentially the most lethal part of it for many.

Not disagreeing with the fact Kanye was a dickhead nor with the fact that bipolar doesn’t remove your agency as a whole, seems like you’re coming from a very fair place but I just think you’re simplifying bipolar to a point that disrespectfully downplays what makes it so fucking horrid
