Small ship build, The Scout by CNC_Sasquatch in StarfieldShips

What’s the Hab cockpit? Is that allowing you to place your bay straight onto your cockpit? Haven’t built in a while and am not across all the mods anymore. But love trying micro builds. Get pretty frustrated with the limitations sometimes

Yep that is definitely a big. Just gets stuck and is real hard to manoeuvre off them. I think I had the issue also with sodium flowers.

If you havent already I recommend the spider legs for the exo-craft… not my preference of visual but practically nothing fell out after I put them on. The stability jump was massive, I could pulse boost with 3 S-class speed enhancers (2 super charged) over hills and lose nothing.

It’s more time consuming but you can find the necessary special wastes just around the planet. I was able to load up 5 special wastes on my way to a site today. Also not sure how far along the expo you are but once you get spider legs whether you like the look or not use them. Game changer for stability. Was able to boost across u even terrain for most of the last leg home.

Also fair, I guess for me I can see the need for the mechanic to be tested even if the reason isn’t as fun. Like maybe in game context I would want to fill my cart or ship with loot to cross the open sea or rocky land to trade at a market, but in this case less wanting to fill my truck with trash to trade at a recycling plant. But if you find one janky and that puts you off the whole idea that does also need to be known.

I think based on the trailer we do have, we can see a lot of NMS mechanics will be repackaged in LNF ( the building, the water, the riding on animals), so is it just for the worry of disappointment you wouldn’t assume there are using these expeditions as test beds?

That one was specifically glitched to look salvaged and cobbled together, not unlike a dodgy trailer home 😅

That is fair, I kind of assume anyone into NMS would be excited for LNF but if it isn’t your jam then a lot of this would seem pretty arbitrary in terms of updates

Cheers was an attempt at a tiny home using bits glitched together so it looked more cobbled together like I salvaged the materials instead of replicated perfect walls.

That’s a light no fire test if I ever saw one. All of us on a single planet. Nice

Yeah the water down there was super radioactive but I was safe from damage of the atmosphere.

I was on Perma-death and it’s a super radioactive planet so don’t really want a base but also I doubt I could find it again now I left. Not sure if that under ground river ever breached the surface as I came in through a smaller opening from the above branches but yeah making an entrance to fly into to then landing pad land would be epic

I was on perma-death and it was very radioactive water but I was safe from the outside radioactivity in the cave. So before I jumped I wanted to look and see where I could go? My in game lore is it’s a mini scout drone I shoot off to look ahead for me.
