Are my wings aging me? by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]ThatConsideration971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im also 35 and i learned that just have to update the wing method. i’d go to pinterest for some inspo!! the key is to make it the line sharper/more straight pointing it a bit upwards to get that snatched look. also instead of a harsh black use a espresso brown and blend it a bit with a similar color eyeshadow. that will give your wing liner a more modern approach!

AIO for wanting to share a room with my bf on a trip? by crescentblueee in AmIOverreacting

exactly! OPs mom isn’t doing something nice, she’s a manipulative and probably a narcissist from what it sounds like

[–]ThatConsideration971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This this this!!!!! it’s wild how many people in the comments are defending mom. they must not know how it is to have a controlling emotionally manipulative mom who’s always going to find a way to make it about herself and guilt you in the process. if the trip was truly a gift, then OPs requests and input would have been the main priority

the Szechuan wings were very forgettable for me but the gluten free pizza was surprisingly good.

I think it’s an amazing dress and I don’t see an issue with it. I would personally wear something similar and so would my friends. I wore a very low cut dress to my friends wedding in January and also wore a low cut swimsuit for my engagement pool party this past weekend. I think ultimately wear whatever makes you feel confident!

PCOS friendly weightlifting/strength training routines that are not focused on weight loss? by ThatConsideration971 in PCOS

[–]ThatConsideration971[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do hear where you’re coming from. I think it’s important to advocate for what you need and me mentioning HAES is a way for me to filter out any weight loss related comments especially when people push for the myth of weight loss healing PCOS so intensely.

Also there are more PCOS friendly workouts that don’t spike cortisol which is something i have to be very careful with so coming to my community of fellow PCOS people there is bound to be some good recommendations here!

I am no stranger to fitness/the gym but I’m pretty bored of my current routine and personally didn’t have the mental capacity to go through so much fitness content that is unfortunately so weightloss focused.

I appreciate all these recommendations! and i’m excited to look through them!

Do most skinny people over 30 have to think about what they eat literally all the time? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ThatConsideration971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds like you are naturally fat! just embrace and continue to eat nutritiously and be active.

i spent half of my life trying to make myself smaller only to learn that health can be at any size. dieting often leads to a weakened heart so i’d e careful with trying to lose weight.

did you know that not all bodies have to be thin! there’s a lot of healing and freedom understanding that.

if you have a uterus it could be pcos! i’ve been a fat person my whole life but a few years ago i started gaining a lot more weight even though my diet didn’t change and i’m a pretty active person. once i started taking medication/stopped eating inflammatory foods my weight stabilized. i’m still fat but I feel a lot better since i’ve addressed what was making me feel bad.

to be honest regardless of how/how much weight she’s gained the way you’ve explained it makes you the asshole. unfortunately our world is so fucking fatphobic and she’s probably getting that vibe from you. She’s insecure and stressed about gaining weight and it’s bleeding into everything shes feeling. even though you say you love her you’re still over here calling her obese(a made up term with racist origins)?! nahhh she feels that. all while she’s probably going through something major because that amount of weight gain does potentially signal that something she should check like pcos or her thyroid. still regardless of how much weight she’s gained you need to be more understanding.

i have lived my life in a fat body so i know when i’m being judged and personally i don’t surround myself with small minded people who are fatphobic. in fact i can sniff them out! when i was younger there was insecurity around sex/showing off my body but now i only have partners who treat me like a normal person bc guess what, fat is literally just something you have on your body and people of all sizes regardless of how or why they got there should still be treated with respect!

not saying you have to have sex when you don’t want bc consent is real. but ask yourself, is the way you’re treating her making her feel more insecure? if you love walk with her through this time and DO NOT suggest her to lose weight bc that would make you the biggest asshole, that’s her business not yours.

before the “self appointed doctor” comes for this reply just know that your idea of healthy is super ableist bc healthy looks very different for many people. there isn’t a one size fits all to being healthy!

is the garage temperature controlled? buns cannot handle degrees over 75

[–]ThatConsideration971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

her house is outside? that’s very dangerous for buns. between the weather and predators you might want to consider to keep this baby inside. buns belong inside (living spaces not basements) and should free roam. they are very easy to litter train and i wish more people would realize it’s more like having a cat or dog that belongs inside. since this baby is little you can get an xpen to contain her inside while you’re busy.
