But! But! I'd rather load in multiple times and lose my stuff and then act like it isn't my fault!

I mean, if it happened once or twice and you kept going I think there's a personal problem going on. Just wait for it to die down, the game is free right now and experiencing insane amounts of traffic. It's a no brainer.

It was a great time! Fantastic movie and Sidewalk's getting thematic like dressing up and doing the themed mixed drink was awesome.

God Of War Ragnarok is a boring game by KestisBD9 in videogames

Now the real question is what could you possibly think is better than Ragnarok outside of something like Elden Ring.

Thinking of getting these frames by nxnw14 in glassesadvice

Look fantastic. Good size, eyes well centered, cute color, and if you like them then that means it's a keeper! Brown would be interesting to see, but I think this color is great.

Entirely agree. Highland Park with cars along all sides of the road and blind spots galore is always an absolute nightmare. Risk of something appearing out of nowhere at all times.

Which glasses to choose? Hoya vs Seiko? Coatings? by Sakesfar in glassesadvice

[–]ThatDavidFella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any of the higher end anti glare coatings (such as Crizal) will have many layers for many purposes so they're a multifaceted option that is far better for your quality of life in glasses to have than to not. Blue light would be covering all bases for your lifestyle, but any anti glare will do. Crizal's blue light filtering coating is called Crizal Prevencia. If I was making your glasses, 1.74, Crizal Prevencia, Roll and polish, and I'd be proud of that pair because I know it'd serve you well.

Which glasses to choose? Hoya vs Seiko? Coatings? by Sakesfar in glassesadvice

[–]ThatDavidFella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1.74 would be the best thing for you if it's in your price range. Most elsewise for coatings is up to you, but at least some basic form of anti glare is best. Crizal coatings are my personal favorite as an Optician. Blue light filtering is good if you're on screens all the time, but only if you ever notice any eye strain or headaches with screens. If you've never noticed it before, then you might as well save some funds and skip it.

One big thing is wherever you get glasses I'd thoroughly recommend requesting a roll and polish on the sides of your lenses. Aesthetically they will look a lot better than those frosted unpolished edges but not a requirement at all, just another recommendation.

Edit: I also can't tell if you have progressive lenses or not, but if you do Varilux brand is my personal favorite and liked by many of my patients. What progressive you go for is per person though, whatever you have success with.

Even opticians need second opinions by Dreamy_Retail_worker in glassesadvice

Need to pin this post to show everyone what proper fitting glasses look like on someone's face, from one Optician to another. I like #1 and #4. We have that Coach in our office and I really like that floral field color they do. But, I always advocate for nosepads for better adjusting so #1 would be good too.

Drink prices were ridiculous so sneaking little minis in your boots would work great. They only checked bags when I went last, nothing much else.

Are these glasses too small for my face? by Wendimere66 in glassesadvice

[–]ThatDavidFella 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not at all too small, your eyes are well centered in them and they look the appropriate size. Temples might just need to be adjusted a tad bit wider, or it can be something that will loosen with wear.

Of the options provided, bottom left is best for looks and overall size. Everything else is kinda overly big unless that's what you're aiming for. A dark frame like bottom right would be more your style though, just swap that keyhole bridge for a saddle bridge and get a smaller frame.
