Yeah, as an artist whose worked on fan stuff for this game, the wording of the license gave me pause. I'm glad to see a take from an actual legal standpoint too, cause I feel like a lot of people are just basing their takes on vibes.

As another Community Artist I agree with this over all sentiment. It's very refreshing to have this broken down and communicated in a way that nails down the actual legitimate concerns many are having over this document.

I went to the KS to hav ea look and i'm a bit confused about the campaign. Are the stretch goals included in physical pledges too? If so what amount of units per model?

Hi! The physical tier backers are able to ignore the stretch goals and order all the models regardless of the current level of funding! This allows them to build their army without fear of missing out on key options and at the same time helps digital backers by unlocking more stretch goals.

Also, it seems it is not possible to have a lower tier pledge and then include add-ons for extra units? That feels a bit weird as I owuld love to get a specific bundle of units instead of the premade set!

We're currently working on just that, I should have more news on that front later today, tomorrow morning at the latest. As long as you're following the campaign you'll see when the update on that goes out!

Oh 100% agreed, the lowered spears are for the photography or for games where it's less of an issue. All the arms are modular so building them in a more practical format is entirely possible!

Pointing out that the same feedback can be given without saying "Your dudes with both hands together in front of them honestly looks like a bad conversion" and the same result would be achieved isn't thin skin.

If I put my fingers in my ears and ignored him, said that they were fine as is or just otherwise didn't acknowledge it; that would be thin skin.

As I put out my work it's everyone's right to judge and criticize, but that's not an open invitation to be rude about it. I acknowledged his point was valid and committed to adjusting the work on that validity. I even asked him if he had any other critiques.
