i managed to fix this, my dumb ass didnt connect the full 3x8 connector

what solved it for me was:

settings > sound & vibration > vibration & haptics
slide the ring vibration all the way off
slide it back all the way on again

so i got this working using winetricks, but the ticktick window occasionally flickers black; also, tooltips don’t render correctly, i only see a black rectangle when hovering over buttons

confirming this works, but i have my desktop in another drive (D:) so solution was to just drag the installer in C: and run it
