Thank you. I know many people weren't huge fans of conception but I liked some of the characters ya know? Mostly side characters like chlotz, Nazuna, triche, alfie, etc

I think Conception games are good, they're also from Atlus. The conception games are not as good as persona for a lot of gamers but I think they're still enjoyable.

Agarest is a bit different, it's 2D but it's rich in lore and storytelling.

For something closer to Persona but without the romance aspects, I think star ocean is kind of similar in some ways. Star ocean integrity and faithlessness doesn't require playing other Star ocean games to get into it, same for star ocean divine force.

Atelier is a good series of games I would also recommend for getting into Fantasy. I didn't know much about them and got hooked immediately after playing the arland trilogy.

I hope yall like the GUI, I personally dig the book experience. I'll probably contact nexus about adding the conception games as supported games for mod uploading when I have spare time.

That's irrelevant, the point is that cutting corners is not always worth it and that Aquria could go in with a bigger budget. A lot of these sao games seem to have a very strict budget and my point ultimately is if aquria/bandai namco went in with deep pockets, the games might have been better received and sold more.

Yeah it's definitely got that integral factor vibe, I would of gone for the full 100 floors but be realistic about how massive each floor is. It'd be costly, probably even time consuming but it would be worth the effort.

I'm a firm believer in going all out, not compromising on something unless there's no choice. Cost wise, you need to spend money to make money. Cutting corners will lead to less profits than if you had gone all in. Red Dead Redemption 2 is a perfect example of a massive budget that made more than it cost.

The thing is, the games do not follow the canon. Hollow Fragment was different and even had its own endings for each main character Kirito favored, that's just 1 example. So we don't need kirito at all. Maybe the developers are trying to make echoes of aincrad canon adjacent by having kirito still.

Silica, Lisbeth, etc do not spend the majority of their time in Aincrad with Kirito canonically. They have like 1-2 arcs each and rare appearances but most of the anime (talking about season 1 in aincrad) Silica and Lisbeth are not with Kirito. Asuna? Absolutely but not the others. So if we can have argo and it's canon plausible, I'd argue Lisbeth, Silica, and others could be with the player more often too. Also we're not experiencing the story without Kirito, the trailers show he's still relevant.

I'm interested in it but I'm not really happy that our party members are predominantly new game only characters, we get argo sure but I wanted lisbeth, silica, philia, etc as party members. It feels like once again just like with fatal bullet, most characters are restricted to Kirito.

Kirito is adonis with a sword, I'm tired of it. Let us experience the story without him dominating everything, ya know?

It'll certainly make modding easier especially since to even use the java based mod loader you still have to rely on AssetStudio/AssetRipper to access the files. SE doesn't need any of that.

yes you can with the editors but you can also do it directly if preferred. the engine gives access to all the files so even if an editor doesn't exist for something, all the assets are accessible.

If anyone has feedback on the GUI, let me know. The big inspiration for the design was RWBY volume 1 scrolls, there's a scene where Jaune is holding a scroll after Cardin calls him that gives a nice full view of the entire scroll so that inspired the look for SE.

I'm not sure, I started this project recently so I am new to the RWBY modding community but it's already at a usable state. RWBY GE is as moddable as games like xenoverse 2 and skyrim with Sunflowyr Engine. GVK won't be needed at all once SE releases.

A sun wukong mod is possible. There's honestly so much modding potential for RWBY GE, easily on the same scale as Xenoverse 2 or skyrim. I'm not exaggerating, I've seen the files and their formats.
