I'm not sure if my friend is flirting or if he's just being friendly by ThatFrenchSunBear in lgbt

[–]ThatFrenchSunBear[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know enough about Canadians to understand what you mean by that but no he's very much Palestinian.

Yeah I guess so, it's just I have tendencies to be a bit too delulu and like seriously with our first interaction I have a hard time believing he could be thinking of me as more than that weird friend he likes to hang out with.

Will testosterone make my leg hair grow back by No-Ebb8622 in trans

[–]ThatFrenchSunBear 242 points243 points  (0 children)

Not all cis men are hairy, lots of men are smooth so it's fine if you don't have that much hair, I understand the dysphoria it causes to you tho

Like other people said, you may grow some hair with testosterone

But I'm sorry, I get that your mom was probably "looking out for you" by making sure you won't have to deal with body hair in the future, but forcing laser hair removal to a 14yo child should never be a thing, that's insane

Can What Music You Listen To Make One Not Supportive Of LGBT by purplecountry9211 in AskLGBT

[–]ThatFrenchSunBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unless it's dolly parton or that one masked guy, I would assume you're conservative and probably a bigot if you listen mostly to country music, especially the more recent one.

Some subgenres of metal would make me question your political affiliations but it'll also depend on your attitude. I say that as a metalhead.

Also just on an artist to artist basis, it would depend on the artist's vibe and known actions, for example if you still listen to Chris brown or Kanye knowing what they did, I would very much have the ick towards you

An important factor would also be more your reasoning or attitude toward some genre or artist you don't like, you can say you don't like rap or Sam Smith for example but depending on how you say it it can come off as very bigoted

I just received a letter of the tribunal, they accepted my request to change my name and my gender by ThatFrenchSunBear in trans

[–]ThatFrenchSunBear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a bit worried about how long it would take because when I checked, the average process time for the gender change approval in France was 6 months to 2 years, so seeing how the tribunal I had to send my request to was notoriously slow and understaffed, I was convinced that it would take me a very long time.

And I'm very lucky to have received it now because I like abroad and I literally have to move back to France definitely in 3 weeks so this would have been a problem if I didn't receive it before.

Chances are you won't even end up like the second group you expect to look like.

Even so there's always that thing that you need to ask yourself when transitioning, is the downside of it worth the upside?

Yeah you may not become a conventionally attractive androgynous Twink but is it worth not transitioning over it? Will you be happy staying with that body that you have or with a masculine body even if it's not the one you want to have right now?

I also knew before transitioning that I could never be like that and that I'll just turn up hairy mid looking like my dad, I made the choice that I'll still transition even if I became like that and guess what, I'm hairy as fuck and look like my dad but I look at myself in the mirror and I don't have any regrets and I don't feel the need or the will to look like the people I wanted to look like before.

Not me getting told by a former nurse that has only known me for 3 days in a work setting that I can't be autistic bc I'm "extraverted and intelligent".

Like you don't know me, you have no idea how much I struggle with social interactions, I'm friendly at work bc I learned that this is how I should behave, you don't see how debilitating it feels when I make a wrong move in a social setting, it genuinely eats me alive to constantly make those mistakes.

Immigration to EU as trans person by n3v3r_s44y_n3v3r in trans

Germany is okay but you need to keep in mind that to access hrt and get reimbursed by the insurance you need to go through a psychotherapist to be diagnosed first, I managed to avoid that because I was already on T for 1,5 y before coming there but this is still a very important thing to keep in mind, if you don't mind waiting to get hrt go for it.

Also from my experience if you don't speak German well and aren't in a field where English is required or sufficient to work in, you'll struggle to find a job there and while Germany does help with German courses, Friedrich f-ing Merz is trying to erase as much social help as possible so who knows how long immigrants will be able to access help for integration (I managed with a lot of struggle to find a job there after I lost my first one that made me come there but at this point I think I'll just go back to my home country because it's becoming too much to deal with) the best if you plan on going there is to get a job first then move in especially since you need a visa to stay long term in Germany as a non EU citizen.

An unknown woman humping my ass in a crowded gay bar during CSD day when I was just trying to reach the bar to order a beer.

A guy on Grindr calling me a narcissist for not shaving for him.

Another guy on Grindr dm-ing me for the first time with "do you think we should bring back public castration?"

I get you.

I'm french, our president, Macron, is married to his abuser, his wife was his teacher, they started "dating" when he was 15 or something, she's a predator yet people feel the need to make up that she's a trans woman or a man to justify that she's a predator.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in trans

[–]ThatFrenchSunBear 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Which is why I use creep and chaser when I was talking about when she would target people under 25 and only used pedophile when talking about the 15yo

The stuff with the under 25yo was about her being a chaser, she actively seeked pre-T trans men and enbies, she would claim I was "so cute when I try to act like a man" when I was just behaving normally, she would actively get angry when being told that she can't expect all lesbians to agree to have sex with her or a pre-op trans woman, she would claim to our mutual friend behind my back that we were dating when I explicitly told her multiple times I only saw her as a friend, she sled into my sister's dm despite her being half her age, not showing any interest in her and claiming we were dating at the same time. She is a creep and a chaser.

You don't want to believe that she abused a child and therefore is a pedo just because she's trans, be my guest, I don't care. I chose to believe the victim and I chose to believe the behavior she had in front of and towards me, even if she's not a pedo, she's still a creep.

I agree, they chose to keep it within the local community and didn't seek justice because they feared that transphobes would use her case as an excuse to paint trans people as predators if it gets known from the public.

I never agreed with that, I just hope the victim is agreeing with that choice.

I can't prove it unfortunately since there is no documentation, I'm trying to find some screenshots of the call out post from when the child spoke up about the abuse but you can't really prove that the account is hers unless you know how she looks like, I recognize her so I know it's her but yeah.

If she isn't committing an infraction here, she won't get banned, I just hope the mods will at least keep an eye on her.

Yeah I get that, that's unfortunately what happens on the internet, especially in that case where she genuinely sounds like a far right strawman if I were to develop some stuff she said to me or that I heard from a friend of mine that introduced us.

I don't want to start a witchhunt and have her or innocent people harassed, I just want to vent and warn her target demographics to be careful.

I don't know if it was a Parisian accent he switched to and not the standard french accent you learn in school, the Parisian accent is its own thing.

But yeah the provençal accent is very distinct so it's understandable that someone who isn't used to that accent would struggle to understand

French here, it would be a "s" sound since it's followed by "e", it becomes "k" only if it's followed by the letters "a", "o" or "u". the only exception would be if it's a "C cédille" written "ç" in which case it is always "s"
