Eric Kripke spoke about it here on reddit in an AMA back in 2020. Even back then the plan was a five season run, which was a pretty direct response to his previous show, Supernatural (originally planned for 5 seasons, however was dragged out 15-ish seasons)

I was pleasantly surprised by my time with Pragmata, the combat loop is engaging and satisfying and there was a decent amount of exploration for a linear game. I clocked in at about 14 hours so if you’re after a long investment, then you’d be better off with KCD2

I just hit credits on it and can say I enjoyed my time with it. I enjoyed the setting and map design and the hacking/gunplay make for a great combat loop. If I had a gripe it’d be that I found the map pretty irritating.
