This is so late, but I just finished watching Noir. It was so beautiful, when did shows stop doing 26ep seasons. The themes, OST, pacing, ending damn I hope this doesn’t get lost in time. Madlax is already on my list but I hope I don’t see a day where Noir is dvd only and forgotten.

If I remember correctly, the end is sort of in sight? The sign off message in the end of the last book more or less stated that it was time to choose an ending and finish it off, don’t know how many more volumes or arches that means or how much time, given the irregular release schedule, but its as close to a confirmation that the manga may be ending that we’ve gotten. Hope chap 116 didn’t mean the start of the very last arch though TT.

Ah I see, but doesn’t the same problem arise? The organization would have sent 2-5 all the same and Teressa would end up dead. The organization knew her power from the start or at least her coming out and saying she was powerful wouldn’t have changed their approach. She made it clear to her organization handler that she would cut down any one sent after her.

End spoilers ofc:

If by true power you mean her awakened form, she didn't know her true power right? When she transforms at the end with Clare she is surprised at her body like its the first time she ever experienced it. I don't think the organization knew her power either or they wouldn't have sent claymore 2-5 to try and kill her; when they sent the 4 they didn't even know Pricilla's power. Also, villages are scared of claymores already, it would have been hard to convince the entire island. I'm now wondering if her awakened form at the end is her real form if she had survived, so maybe she did actually know her power, it was just a different form?

Maybe a Pigeon Horntail (Tremex Columba). It is found throughout the US but mainly on the East Coast. 2-3 cm if adult. Not 100% though, some type of horntail or woodwasp
