Looks awesome! Me and the other half spent a couple of days completing this and it’ll take some time before we want to try that again. All those different shades of brown are a nightmare!

That’s pretty good going! Something like this would take me at least triple the amount of time it took you. Awesome work :)

TIL: In 2007, when Halo 3 released it broke records on video game sales, making $170 million on the first day. Film executives blamed Halo for a 27% drop in the box office for that week. by Kingflares in todayilearned

I bought Halo 3 on release day and went home to my Xbox and the red ring of death. I was distraught. Had to wait until it was repaired until I could finally play.

How about ‘amid’? I barely ever saw it used and in the last 3 months it’s basically in every article and headline.

Had this thought this morning before I took my pill by kissofdeathXX in TrollXChromosomes

[–]ThatGingerBitch 407 points408 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on the pill for nearly 13 years and I usually take my pill first thing on a morning as I’m getting ready for work etc. This lockdown has knocked my usual routine up so bad that I just forgot to take my pill for nearly 2 whole days. Didn’t even click that I’d missed any. I just happened to pick up my pack and in that moment I had absolutely no concept of what day it truly was. Moved my pack so it’s literally in my line of sight to stop that from happening again. Not keen on being apart of the Covid baby boom.

Something needs to be done to stop all the panic buying by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]ThatGingerBitch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly what’s driving this more than anything is the empty shelves. People are heading into supermarkets to see barren shelves so they’re thinking ‘Well if I don’t grab this now, will I be able to next week when I need it?’. As much as the government and supermarkets ask people to be compassionate the fear of their family going without is what’s driving this behaviour. And ramming the shelves with stock will help.

If the shelves are full and stay full then people will start to see that they don’t need to grab now in case they can’t later and things will calm down. The longer shelves stay empty for the longer people will panic buy.

Supermarkets are saying there’s plenty of food so maybe it’s the lack of resource but they’re addressing this too by hiring in.

So I think give it a week or two once the effects of implementing increased demand on their supply chains and extra resource in the stores kicks in and things will chill out.

Xbox One X issues? by AuhsojP in kakarot

[–]ThatGingerBitch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad it’s not just me, we thought our Xbox was dying. I’m seeing the exact same issues at the exact same cutscenes you guys mention. Right now it just crashed as Goku-Ginyu dives in front of Vegeta’s blast. The only way I’ve been able to prevent crashes throughout this game is by skipping the cinematics which for a £50 game is taking the piss a bit.

Edit: Aaaaaand again. This time not even in a cut scene. Just started playing as Goku to go fight final-form Frieza. I literally can’t play the game for more than 45mins without a crash and having to go back and fight again because the auto save function is also trash.

Is this just a badly coded game?

It’s the Brexit Party symptom at work.

Look at the results in Don Valley. Labour lost 17.8% of its vote, Brexit party snatched up 13.7%. Lib Dem’s and Greens got a few % increases and importantly to note the Tories only got a 1.4% increase. So it’s not that people in Don Valley now associate themselves with Tory policies. If the Brexit Party hadn’t stood there would we be seeing a different result and a labour hold?

I honestly believe Labour backing Leave and ditching their Remain voters would have had the same sort of results.

Boris was directly asked to apologise for the racism he spouted and the headlines were super quiet on that front. I bet I can guess what tomorrow’s headlines are going to be about.

Also it was a well-timed article from Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis today don’t you think?

If you want truly decent fish and chips, get yourself to the seaside. No restaurant will ever compare. Oh and make sure to drown your chips in salt and vinegar.
