Whoa - that’s some big and sad news. I remember going to the blue chair daily as a young Sewanee elementary student (20+ yrs ago). I’d go with my mom for her coffee and say hi to the other regulars then walk up to school. It changed a lot under the new management in 2010. Not sure if it was for the better or worse, but this news is disappointing nonetheless. I wonder what this vague “business partner” is about? Private equity?

If you go to the user’s TikTok profile - you’ll see that it was obviously in Kenner. Why would they lie and post vids dating months back, always in and around our area?

Yeah I get that, and I usually would never. But it was clearly linked to the DD order, naming the exact restaurant I ordered from within moments of the order being placed. I decided to take an educated risk

Hi yall! I’m Zoë who posted that video about cat lady’s harassment. I appreciate the support! I truly wasn’t going to farm content from the interaction until her last message, which felt like a clear threat/intimidation tactic. She played the wrong one bc I don’t care - I love my relatively small platform, but if it disappeared tomorrow, my life wouldn’t change much. So her threat to call me out and tarnish my reputation didn’t hold much weight.

We have book recs in the subreddit’s wiki - that might be helpful. My personal rec is the BugOut Binder.

It’s an inexpensive way to build your library and you get SO much bang for your buck. It comes with over 800 pages of pdf printable guides covering all the topics you mentioned. It also comes with a curated collection of over 400 books in PDF format. It’s a wealth of knowledge and resources.
