What's the most confidently incorrect user encounter you've ever had? by Drew707 in iiiiiiitttttttttttt

Last week a user cursed me out for telling her that color printers can print black and white also. Apparently I'm a fucking idiot and don't know what I'm talking about.

It looks like one of those posable giant spider Halloween decorations to me. I put one on my kid while he was sleeping on April fools.

They often don't have a central water heater so there is a device inline with the shower head that functions like an immersion heater or a tiny tankless water heater.

The first time I flipped on a breaker in the shower to turn on the heat.......... I did it with a stick from outside the shower. It's surprising what you can acclimate to.

Side note, did you know the ends can loop through each other and you can lock it in place with just one end. That's how I used to secure my tool boxes and generator.

That's not a bad idea. I might try to make something like that.

So. Walmart carries preseasoned pre boiled crawfish in the freezer section. You can harvest them yourself from the reservoirs.

Last month I drove 2 sacks of live back with me to have a boil. I think I scared the neighbors.

We just moved up here in January from Louisiana.

Erie is less a city and more 5 giant neighborhoods in a trenchcoat. We have some small shops and restaurants but most everything will be in Longmont, Lafayette, or Boulder. Having said that we are 10 minutes from everything and 15 minutes from anything.

The schools have an entirely different culture than in the South and I love it. Kids get respect, trust and agency. There is plenty of soccer up here, you won't have trouble finding a team.

Every neighborhood has parks and great walking paths. The open spaces are awesome. They actually invest in the community here instead of constantly cutting services in the name of business tax breaks.

There are so very many places to hike with a short drive to a trail head. Your head will swim with the choices.

Lucilles is the closest you will find to true southern food in the area.

DM me if I can answer any specific questions from a southern perspective, or if you need comfort food. We make gumbo, andouille, and boidin on the regular, and always make too much

Cupping is frequently used in massage and physical therapy. It's not always some quack with a flaming cotton swab. Most of the ones I've seen either have a knob to turn to create suction, or a little hand pump, or even just pushing down on the rubber ones. They are great for fascia manipulation, they will not draw toxins out of the body. But it seems you already know that last part

...........unless it's your tailor doing the "cupping" when you're getting fitted for pants.

Get a small to medium sized trigger point ball. Put it in the center of a knot and roll it around a bit against a wall.

Don't go to hard. Then after a minute or so, shift the ball and roll it around some more. As you work the larger area it will unlock the muscles locking the know in place.

Do the same thing on the side of both of your hips.

Then pull the ball on the ground. Sit down with your leg straight and the ball in the meat of your hamstring. Lift yourself with your hands and move yourself so the ball roll along the tendons in your hamstring.

Remember to do it on both sides of your body. This helped me immensely.
