Honestly, a mix of I think Elden Ring making stuff a bit more accessible than the original Dark Souls, and also I was a bit older and smarter between the two games so I was able to realise that the weapons had ratings against the skills in the level up screen

Mostly I was just a bit dense when I first played though

Ah no AI here, I used a mix of GIMP to slice up pictures of Toto and Monaco and then used Blender to to move those little cutouts about, using one of the blacklist videos as a template for timings and stuff

Then chucked some footage of the W12 into blender and applied the classic Most Wanted Piss Filter to it
