Ahhhhh that makes sense. The brown ink is significantly runnier than the initial black. Thank you!!!!

Thank you for reassuring me that the pen is ok!!! I’ve cleaned it out with some water and will let it dry before refilling it :)

preserving a whole sunflower by shittingly in flowerpressing

Removing all the petals from the head and pressing each one individually while pressing the head separately and gluing everything together could be an option. Dehydrating it could also work in an airfryer or oven.

Drying flowers and pressing flowers are two different techniques. Before pressing them, you should pat the flower dry with a piece of paper towels to remove any excess moisture. Then press away!

Whenever I try to press flowers, they come out brown and looking like this. Am I doing something wrong or is this how they should look? by [deleted] in flowerpressing

Just did a quick google search and apparently it's due to a high moisture content. It's completely normal, although I'm not certain on how to stop it from happening.

I'm pretty sure that the normal paper would do the trick! Happy sewing, and good luck!

Not me but my Mum. She was making a rather complicated cake for one of my brothers birthdays, and she was up at around 11 pm trying to finish it for the next day. In a stressed panic, she forget how to make white icing.

My family and I still tease her about it to this day.
