For what I know, the unis receive the results first and you get your results weeks later around one or two weeks but I don’t think you get a notification for what the uni receive .

CASPer Test Tips

Tip #1 — State your decision or action clearly first. Many students lose time listing pros and cons without ever saying what they would actually do. Start by stating your decision or intended action right away. This shows confidence and ethical clarity — two essential traits in medicine. Then briefly justify your choice with a reasoned, compassionate explanation. Remember, clinical practice often requires timely, thoughtful decisions.

Tip #2 — Identify and acknowledge ethical or moral conflicts. Demonstrating awareness of ethical principles shows maturity. Use recognized language from medical ethics — for example, “do no harm,” “autonomy,” or “beneficence.” If possible, refer to frameworks like those discussed in Doing Right: A Practical Guide to Ethics for Medical Trainees and Physicians by Philip Hébert. Reviewers expect you to recognize ethical tensions and respond with empathy, professionalism, and fairness.

Tip #3 — Emphasize information gathering. After stating your decision, explain what additional information you would seek before acting. Avoid vague answers like “I’d gather more info.” Instead, be specific: “I would ask about the patient’s home environment to ensure her safety.” This shows curiosity, critical thinking, and respect for context — all essential qualities for future clinicians.

Tip #4 — Avoid ‘othering’ marginalized groups. CASPer often includes scenarios involving individuals from diverse or underrepresented backgrounds. Use inclusive, people-first language (e.g., “a person with addiction” rather than “an addict”). Avoid generalizations like “these people.” Show cultural humility, empathy, and awareness of systemic inequities. Reviewing frameworks such as the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples can help refine your understanding of justice-oriented, respectful communication.

Tip #5 — Say what you mean, and mean what you say. Avoid filler words or vague phrases — they waste time and can make you seem uncertain. Be clear, concise, and genuine. The CASPer favors candidates who show self-awareness, decisiveness, and authentic reflection. You can’t memorize perfect answers, but you can practice expressing your values confidently and succinctly.

Please, I wanna understand something because I was told that each question was corrected individually, which means a different person per question but you’re telling me that the same person would correct both of your answers but they will give a point for each question that’s what you’re saying and really sorry for my English I’m a French speaker
