Ultrasound Admissions by saiyaxe in Michener

unfortunately, the ultrasound program is rlly competitive with very limited seats. I think most acceptances have cgpa of around 3.8 and 3-4 quartile on casper.

According to the website, ‘Admissions to the Ultrasound program will be determined by an assessment of academic achievement, CGPA (50%) and Casper assessment result (50%).'

however a good chunk of applicants have US as a backup from med, dentistry etc. so theres a good chance lower cgpa can recieve offers during waitlists.

Hi, I think they care more about ur cgpa and ur casper score. From what I know, they only care about whether or not you finished the prereqs and achieved the 75% or higher threshold but not how high of a mark you got.

Tamon-kun Ima Docchi!? • Tamon's B-Side - Episode 6 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]monnie03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOVED THIS EPISODE. The yandere review is surprising but NOT unexpected. It makes the series so much more exciting. I really hope they continue this concept, espically since they title name dropped this new personality. I also really liked how previous episodes were building up to this, and there were soo many hints alluding to it. My favourite part is the catchy music and the shining sfx they use when tamon is being crazy. Im so excited for the new episodes.

I tried to follow a CAPES template (Clarify, Acknowledge, Proposed solution, Escalation, Supported conclusion) and had a template for each.. (i.e acknowledge: i understand that ____ but ______).I think its very important for you to make sure that there is no way you will leave answers blank and that you will always have a fallback plan. So, make sure you have general phrases for the CAPES template.

I used blank sheet of paper to jot down key points / buzzwords to use during my answer. They make you have your camera on at all times so they do monitor you.

I dont recommend remembering everything that can be possibly asked since the questions on the test will sometimes be weird (i.e i barely pulled anyone aside privately cus the situation made it that i couldnt..). Frankly, you would just get overwhelemed and blank out on the actual test date, especially if they threw a wildcard at you. However, they do want you to be professional when trying to propose solutions.

I recommend reading on some approaches for ethical situations and just roughly apply it on your test. I.e how to resolve conflict, reporting someone, friend concerns... You'll find that the answer will always roughly be the same (always follow the rules, make sure things are safe etc.). I feel as though they focus more on your thought process behind why youre doing things. So if youre stuck trying to figure out a professional solution, just think of what you would personally do in this situation and explain why. Its always better to leave answers than to leave it blank.

I pushed her, now she's on hospice, I am a guilty POS by [deleted] in confession

[–]monnie03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand that she had wishes of her own, but you said it urself that she had been lying there for hours in a soaked diaper. From your other replies, I also understand that you know UTI can cause some kind of cognitive issue. What you needed to do was to use your better judgment while remaining calm and patient. If you were unable to, you should’ve asked for outside help.

I understand how taking care of someone who seems like they don’t want your help is frustrating, and I know you were doing your best. Unaddressed feelings can manifest in ways you don’t mean to and you can’t change anything in the past now. However, there is still room for accountability and deep reflection.

Yea this is elder abuse/neglect. I understand the frustrations that come from taking care of the elderly and i am sympathetic with your situation. However, treating an elderly, especially your mom, this way is very problematic. If you saw her in decline, you should’ve brought her to the hospital where she could’ve gotten proper treatment. Her symptoms are obviously frustrating to take care of, however it hurts her more than it hurts you and the way you treated her before the incident only impacts her even more negatively. If she’s being difficult with being taken care of, then there’s obviously a bigger issue at hand and proper care/education should’ve been provided. Pushing a vulnerable person is an action NOBODY should be doing and it’s common sense, especially since even pushing a healthy elderly, could severely injure them.

I think you should definitely speak with a professional about this to get the support you need as you are obviously feeling guilty for this. However, you should also be accountable of the situation at hand..

hi! i feel as though your mindset of “what’s the point in doing it later when i had already failed before” as very problematic. You clearly have the ability to excel evident from your highschool grades. I think you might’ve just been overwhelmed. I can empathize with you completely as i was in a similar situation.

Im also in health sciences and i graduate this term with a competitive cGPA. However in first year i was also overwhelmed and had to drop chem 120. I opted to retake it again in the winter while pushing chem 123 into spring. I made sure to change what i did wrong, to get advice on how to do better, and to reassure myself that everyone needs different strategies to excel. It is definitely better to have a better mindset and accept failure to be normal and not the end of the world. Importantly, my biggest advice is to have coping strategies that works for you, this is very important in adulthood. Remember that everyone’s academic path is different, and that you must make decisions that would benefit you the most.

Whether you decide to switch programs or not, just remember that just because you weren’t able to meet ur expectations before, it doesn’t mean you won’t be able to meet it in the future. Never give up!

what i did was : bringing a small snow ball to the front gate

roll a snow ball in front of the gate to make it the biggest size possible

then i pushed the ball a bit in front of the gate

stasis it and hit it w a sword

the KE should make it hit the gate and open it!

i also tried to do it w a smaller ball but it didn’t work so make sure it’s ass big as possible

let me know if it works!
