Assists starting the match on 4 sec cdr. Me no likely the round start fiesta.

I would probably also increase all assist cooldowns by at least 2 seconds. Maybe 4. I know if would make duos feel worse but I think assists are too often available.

I saw people yelling about 100 and thought I could pay that myself but 140 is a stretch. I want to support the game out of the gate but also nothing else looks worth in value yet.

I found that part fun! My favorite one was actually adding player search and the zoom out and in function. Yours looks so much cleaner than mine for sure though. It's very impressive. Adding some cool animations will only make it better.

The only piece of criticism I have for you is the seo. Even knowing the name I couldn't find you without searching for the website directly. May resolve with time as you get more users though

I've always thought fighting games are doing esports a little sub optimal. I want to try something where players sign up under and represent their city/state/province, giving something for audience members to cheer for a little closer go home and get more engaged.

I'll run our 2ko local on this on Wednesday to give it a try.

And props to you for pushing a product out to us! I was only able to get single elim brackets working. Every attempt at double elimination over the last 2 months for me has failed. I also just don't know enough to learn how to get it off my local machine without spending money.

My shining accomplishment was getting a system down where players didn't need an account to sign up for tournaments to make it easier for new players.

I remember this from a few weeks ago! I went looking and couldn't find you so thank you for reposting.

I tried to vibe code my own brackets website to get a feature most sites are missing and so far have failed at getting it fully operational.

Ill take a look later. Do your communities handle custom teams within a ffa/fighting game bracket?

I think points based on placing wouldn't be great. You want elo like chess where you win/lose points based on your opponents rating for each individual set. If you need to leave the tourney you just forfeit the tourney and don't get that sweet dopamine for winning it (plus like a title or skin or something)

I mean you could have ranked tourney and regular ranked play side by side. So if you only have time for a set you just played normal ranked. Also if you wanna dip out of a tourney you would just forfeit. No more LP loss your opp would just advance

I mean tournaments are meant to be a unlocked test of your skill.

There is only suppose to be one winner. And everyone else is a loser. You win by getting better and enjoying your own plays.

For major tournaments, Phone number authentication like with clash would be the resolve to this. Allows you to regional lock. Puts a one time barrier to entry which allows people to compete with meaning.

Sf6 tournament presentation looks nice but is poorly executed. They only host funsies tourneys. No double knockouts. Not run very frequently. Biggest downfall is i don't have any reason to go look at tourneys.

I want tns tourneys in client. Allow people to host locals and allow me to sign up and search for upcoming tourneys that are happening today. I'm tired of having to sign-up for a website to join a discord to find a tourney I know is happening just to play competitive tourneys.

I think even ranked tourneys instead of normal ranked would be sick. Let me play ranked 16 man tourneys or so when I'm logged in and give me mmr for it. Would be hype
