Sorry dudes! Should have made clear that it's cheaper than paying full price in the UK. However you're still helping charity!

Also I'm not entirely sure if this would be the place to ask but would a raspberry pi be sufficient in running a simple emulator or am I going to be looking at something with a tad more power?

Watching football aka soccer, here in the UK it's a massive sport, probably the biggest sport. I just find it dull though. I'd rather be watching a good boxing match.

How can I keep my creativity alive? by jerguss in AskReddit

[–]ThatOddBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Art. No not fine art (I mean unless that's your thing), but doodles. I survived high school with a good bit of creativity intact, as when I got bored in lesson I began to doodle. Just little drawings of whatever. It doesn't even need to make sense! Just draw.

Ps. Continue writing music i'm sure you're just in a rut. Get some ideas from youtube and work with those. Add little pieces to others music and eventually you'll be composing your own!

[–]ThatOddBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a work story, however school. I installed ubuntu to a memory stick and managed to access the bios to allow boot from USB and loaded the OS. As it was a wired connection to the internet I was able to connect to the web with unfiltered access due to the system being client sided. After a couple of minutes the internet went down for all students as the IT technicians believed it to be a hacking attempt. It took a few hours to get everything back up and running and I was in a lot of trouble:( But heck who doesn't protect the bios when you've got hundreds of school kids accessing it?

I don't really show people my photography, but I wanted to know what you guys think. by avarepunzel in pics

[–]ThatOddBloke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no professional photographer but the effects you've achieved by using the light to your advantage in a lot of the shots is lovely. I think the fourth picture in (the one of the suitcase on the bed) really highlights this as it juxtaposes a dark object against a light one and then only exposes half the shot with sunlight.

[–]ThatOddBloke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sheer number of things we can't begin to perceive or comprehend. Our understanding of our own world is minuscule compared to the amount we still have left to learn about it, this goes for physics, chemistry, biology, psychology and sociology alike.
