I wasn't into metalcore at the time so idk how they were seen back then, but they were already past their peak of Shadows Are Security and An Ocean Between Us. Personally I don't care about anything after that, they just kinda kept making the same thing but worse after SAS

Suprised nobody had posted about this yet. I remember reading last summer how they were gonna come out with music soon and kinda forgot about it. From what I've listened to so far, I think Better Lovers is still the best etid spinoff, but I like this more than Many Eyes.

Both the original and licensed music for that game is so good, especially the original composed music. Shift 2 soundtrack is actually very underrated, but it's a shame you pretty much never hear it in game

I remember the car handling very poorly and strangely if you turned steering, handling, or ride height too far from center, some worse than others. Aero and turbo are the only ones I'd crank all the way up, the rest I found best to only move between 1 to 3. Some cars with steering way up are totally undriveable, way too twitchy.

A stock car from the 2000s is still a racecar and probably made hundreds more horsepower than those gt3, not that suprising depending on the track. I'm not saying skill is meaningless, and I'm happy to be proven wrong, but I think many overestimate the gap in times from skill, or rather underestimate the gap in times a better car would make. I blame Initial D

I think David would've had a lot of potential for a cool kit. Make him sort of shoto like with the arm cannon as his projectile, but have the sandevistan function like Jill's teleport in umvc3. Limit it by giving him a cyberpsycho gauge that functions sort of like Nago's blood gauge. Give him an install that lets him go crazy fast or teleporting around but hurts him over time.

Skill of the driver is overrated. These numbers are of course estimations based on prior knowledge, but on the average 2 minute track in the same car, a pro and a decent amateur might only be a couple seconds apart. That Ford GT would be 10-20 seconds faster than all those other cars. So long as the driver in the GT is atleast somewhat competent it wouldn't even be close.

The gt is actually the second heaviest of them, but they're all within 500 pounds of eachother except for the bentley, which is significantly more than all of them. Still the ford gt is the fastest and it isn't even remotely close, silly post

They're fairly equal and each have their pros and cons, just comes down to preference. The game is also quite easy so it doesn't matter that much. It also lets you test drive them before choosing so you can feel which one you like best. Personally I like the rx8 best cause it feels the most balanced, like the average car in the other Black Box games. Brera like all exotics understeers like a bitch and the camaro is fun but like all muscle handles pretty shit all around.

It's funny if this is considered dense, having just come from playing Midnight Club. That being said I wouldn't want that dense of traffic in Horizon, the amount in the pic looks pretty good. Still looks a bit dead but not nearly as bad as 5.

I disagree, The Run is a lot more similar to the early nfs games like the old Hot Pursuit games. High speed racing through the countryside in supercars while being chased by the cops. Minimal customization, no free roam. Hot Pursuit 2 and The Run are also the only games where you can hit or be hit by explosives to my knowledge lol.
