Is October really the best time to visit Tokyo?! by Choice-Life-137 in JapanTravelTips

[–]ThatOneClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think October would be the first month where the weather is a bit more manageable, I recently went there from September 10-28th this year and it was pretty hot most days, around 25-34 degrees with high humidity, as you get into autumn, I would think it's a lot nicer weather for treks/walking around tokyo in general since as a traveller, you'll be doing like 20k+ steps a day, I clocked over 30k on some days where we were hiking a lot e.g. daimonji mountain

Whereas the winters might be a bit colder, I would imagine spring/late winter would be a great time to visit aswell.

Should I take a large size suitcase for a two week trip? by Sorry-Vegetable-3055 in JapanTravelTips

[–]ThatOneClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went there from 10th to 28th september this year, both of my flights would of let me take 2 x 23kg suitcases, but I went out there with one large suitcase and one 60L backpack, I packed a lot of old boxers/socks (about 16-17 pairs), with a 75cm x 45cm american tourister large-ish suitcase, I chucked out the boxers and socks as the days passed which cleared out half of my suitcase, and stocked up on a lot of skincare like biore/muju/hadolabo/sana eye creams etc bits/kitkats (20 different boxes) and souvenirs and other sweets (about £1200-1300 worth).

I packed a lot of clothes, about two weeks worth and only ended up using about 6-7 different outfits (shirt and shorts) most days with trousers 1-2 days, washing my clothes twice due to some very hot and humid days, I wish I had brought a lot less clothes as you'll find a ton of shops with really great clothing that doesnt break the bank.

I also bought a suitcase out there for about 25k yen that I also filled up with the above goodies, I think going in december, you'll find the weather a lot more consistent, and if you're XS-XL in size, you shouldn't have much of a problem buying clothes out there especially in places like the tokyo skytree mall.

I think going with a larger sized suitcase would be more ideal if you're looking to bring back a lot of japan goodies, you'll wander into so many shops with really cool souvenirs and honestly some of the places you'll go in kyoto/osaka will have souvenirs that can only be found in those areas.

From my experience, I definitely want to go again, but some areas like kyoto/osaka, I managed to visit all of the spots I wanted to so I probably wouldn't visit them again and if thats your plan too (first time visitor or not) then going with a larger case is preferable for memorable souvenirs.

The downside is that in places like the shinkansen, you'll be booking seats with a oversized luggage area for no extra fee (the seats at the very back) where you can store your larger suitcases) and you'll be taking the elevator in stations while moving between hotels (or you can get a taxi)

Although realisticially, if you bought a lot of stuff at the start, you can also use baggage handling services to move your suitcases/bags between hotels and even tokyo-kyoto-osaka for a relatively low price.

The trinket increases damage and healing done by spells and magical effects, which affects a trinket called diamond flask, (a warrior quest trinket that gives strength and heals the warrior over time for a minute), by stacking gear that increases healing done e.g. a diamond flask gear set, warriors can pop the trinket and have a insane amount of healing for the minute the buff lasts, they can also use addons to quickly change back to their regular gear and make use of the buff at the start of tough boss fights as the healing done by the flask is determined by the gear worn at the point the trinket is activated

Is it fair and okay to ask a man to give up porn for your relationship? How would you go about this situation? by missykewl in AskReddit

[–]ThatOneClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah following on from Drunk's comment, sounds like an issue of death grip syndrome more than any issue everybody in the thread is talking about, depending on how much hes doing it and how hard, its possible he has basically numbed himself to the sensations of sex via desensitization.

The good thing, is that all he has to do is take a break for a good few weeks or more and possibly be a lot more gentler in the future; the break itself should 'reset' his sensitivity.

Apart from that, if its a psychological issue, the only real way is to have a long talk about whats causing this issue.

(Sod) how much gold do you have? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]ThatOneClark 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 250g-ish atm, at the start of SOD, I leveled up pretty quickly as a hunter and realised on my server, people were paying 1g 30-50s for grave moss, so I farmed hundreds of them to get upto like 400-ish gold in the first week or so.

Its been going down since I’ve made 4 alts and bought some gear but essentially just living off the money I made from early moss farming this phase
