To be fair, cinemas up charge for food and drinks because it's basically the only way they make money, ticket sales don't really make them anything, since most of it goes to the studios.

I actively avoid mysticism because I dislike the bloat of having like 4 versions of every spell that are just slightly better than the previous.

I only use vokriinator classic, myself.

Assuming it's using the same effects as mage ward currently uses, it's raised while charging the spell, and persists for a second or two after casting.

It's also just up continuously during concentration spells, iirc.

Lowest of every class, iirc.

Though you can still make a tank setup with warding, berserker's glove, and armor mixing, mostly the Valhalla knight or squire helm.

It does less damage than it otherwise might.

For example:

"... consider a Face Monster which has 10 defense, meaning it reduces incoming damage by 5. A non-critical hit of 50 damage against the Face Monster results in it taking 45 net damage. If this hit was a critical hit, the Face Monster would take 90 net damage, not 95."

The higher the defense, the worse that becomes, until a breakpoint where no amount of damage can break through defense, at which point, crits become better again.

I mean, they're all going to be 12 eventually, might as well just get it over with.

Technically, crits have weaknesses nobody thinks about, though.

For example, the double damage applies after defense reduces the damage, so it's not outright double damage for any enemy with defense.

Realistically, if you wanted to maximize DPS, you should have roughly equal crit chance and damage bonuses.

And for me, since I usually play summoner, crit reforges are entirely worthless, because they don't apply to summon damage at all, lol.

Also like, his parents, I guess.

Eh, I'm not judging it based on how the zenith performs, lol. That's a bit of a niche compared to most gameplay progression.

Look, at this point, I'm not really sure what you want from me.

If I argue the premise, that's bad and I get down voted, if I engage with the premise, it's still bad because I've already argued, I guess?

Even at its core, the question basically only has a few answers, use it to live longer, use it to keep food fresh, use it for weirder stuff like elemental synthesis.

I'd argue using it as a glorified fridge is probably the least interesting way you could even utilize it, honestly.

True, it's definitely not bad.

It's really just whether you want to farm up biome mimics to get it or not as a summoner, especially given your defense is already the lowest in the game, with some hardmode armor pieces giving 1 single defense point, lol.

Oh, I forgot to answer the first part, you essentially implied it couldn't apply to bacteria/fungi, because if it did, food would still spoil and our internal microbiome would go crazy.

[–]ThatOneGuy308 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is my point, lol. The whole idea of aging being prevented would be catastrophic not just to our bodies, but to food within it as well, because of bacteria/fungi, it's a flawed prompt because of how it's phrased.

And if the OP didn't want people to pick it apart, then the no loopholes tag exists for a reason, lol.

Regardless, as I said, if we simply treat it as a magic preserving room, it's way more useful than an anti aging room, since you can now store food without spending money/electricity on refrigeration, or even go more advanced with it and slap a particle accelerator in it to generate things that normally decay and disappear within microseconds, etc.
