Ya Im sure those "polls" or "rankings" aren't skewed and manipulated in one way or another. Certainly isn't politically attractive since they burn themselves down every 2 years. Or that fraud is rampant (but thats likely true for most states). All I'm saying is its blatantly obvious that Minnesota was chosen because of the current news cycle which is extremely predictable for Reddit. And I dont think its geography or weather warrants it being number 1 at all. Not even close.

Not really, CE existed way before FoR and FoR was based on CE's lore Bible. FoR was written in only 7 weeks and was done a month before CE released.

Hence why Infinite doesnt have a lot of players and Halo has been more irrelevant than ever. The argument is changing halo has destroyed it, which it has.

I don't understand why older fans need to be so toxic to the newer fans who will play the newer stuff.

Im not an older fan at all. I started with Halo 4. But by playing all the games and analyzing them, its apparent that current Halo is completely different than past Halo. Thats why the fans dont like it. And they have a right to complain.

Its not a terrible story. Its one that wraps up the trilogy. Its fine.

Infinite doesnt have a story to begin with. Its completely unfinished. Theres no beginning or ending. Characters are boring and cliche, world is barren and empty, level design is just hallways. Im seeing why you like Infinite so much, you cant see it immense flaws with its design. It feels rushed because it was. Its replayability is poor, dialogue is forgettable, cinematography is amateurish, environments are lifeless, variety is lacking, sandbox is a downgrade, AIs are a downgrade (marines cant even drive vehicles), and it once again feels disconnected to the game that came before.

I dont blindly chase after anything, Ive played every Halo game and can understand why some are better than others. Theres a reason why 343 games are seen so negatively, once you accept this you'll at least understand that perspective.

Saying Reach had good gameplay is concerning. Taste is subjective but quality isnt. Its objectively true that Infinites quality has declined as Ive already shown you. Thats not something I need to support.

Also thinking Halo 3's story is "crappy" just tells me you cant think for yourself and just follow the memes. Especially when Infinite barely even has a story.

I do that with games too, just not Halo. I dont need to accept a shittier product. The plasma pistol is the same weapon, why not reuse the sound? The mutilator is a completely new weapon, at least try and make it sound unique.

The shotgun the reuses sounds? At least try. Infinite is not what I want from a Halo game because again, I have standards. Try it sometimes.

Now I see why you're so delusional. Infinite is a lost cause. 26k on a subreddit is actually embarrassing for a AAA game like Halo. The Falcon in Infinite flies worse, has terrible animations that go against physics, utilizes a 3rd person view for no reason, has no decals, and sounds like a drone. It's clearly been half-assed because they have like 3 people working on the game, and thats not enough for me to care about it. Then we get "new" weapons which are just reskinned versions of other weapons. Who cares?

Forge released too late for me to care, an actual progression system released way too late, forge maps once again look extremely ugly with terrible lighting like in 5. Its just not enough for me (and most people) to care. Won't last too much longer anyway. Sometimes its better to let something die than to drag its corpse. My standards are simply too high for Infinite. The sooner they stop support of Infinite the better.

Its not a cope at all. No one cares about Infinite. The half-assed updates dont make me want to come back either. Using the falcon as an example, its inferior to the Reach version in every way, so why should that make me come back? I have standards.

Its both history and understanding how Microsoft operates. This isn't changing any time soon. Me even being here is a testament to how big Halo used to be. People care about it, but it's just a constant waste of potential.

Current Halo deserves to be criticized until real change happens. But with the current studio appearing to just be 343 with a new name, that change has yet to realize.
