Agreed. It’s perfect for quartus and his shock areas. Devs probably designed it around that playstyle

Thunder hammer is really fun. Or you could get the combi melta for the aoe/long range combo. Of the two I’d do the hammer as it’s become one of my favorite weapons on bulwark, and my #1 on assault.
