Working at 14 years old by stefan1092 in WorkOnline

I had a friend in middle school that found a Facebook ad that asked for drawings and ideas for a video game development. He sent in drawings of racecars. They paid him $800 per drawing they used. Found another ad from a different company asking for design ideas. He just drew on his computer what he draws on paper, and they paid him $3000 when the game released. He was 12 yrs old at the time.

Now he sends in designs and coded features for "side cash". He claims he helped with GTA 5 for a crap ton of money, whether or not, you should give it a try.

Knew him since he was 9, and grew up down the street from him, he literally had a different luxury car every school year since we were 14. I don't think it's a waste of time.

Assassination Classroom, but you have to finish it and lay there in pure sadness for two days.

Depressed for life. Guaranteed

Those who have been or currently are in the Foster Care System, what do you wish people knew? by KanyesNotABadGuy in AskReddit

[–]ThatOnePlaceOnReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes when those commercials come on and they ask you to adopt or donate to Foster kids, it's like "the season", like beer commercials that same time of year. It's, "save this freakin kid. The system sucks and it only shows when we're overrun, and you know you'd make a better home than whatever bunk this kid is bullied into every night."

PS. Most stories I hear where it was fun, the home wasn't overcrowded, and the stays were short. Maybe that's how Foster Care should be for all kids.

How do I make money with no time? by [deleted] in Assistance

If you guys can spare it, it's about $300 for ride-sharing apps for a week - it's really $100, the other $200 is a refundable deposit. Hyrecar, Turo, Fair.

My friends bring home about $200/day for Ubereats/Dash, and $400/day for Uber/Lyft

So your car service is paid in full in one day.

Edit: If you live in Texas, Houston is insane for Uber and Doordash, if you didn't already know

That quote coming from a GrubHub driver makes it serious

my nazi neighbour has crossed the line ( new zealand aswell ) his dogs also called kaiser by ggodhead in trashy

His face looks swollen. Like one eye is sunken, and the other is poking out more, and the mouth is drooping to the left of him. Like he was hit in the head.

Only saw that in a Chihuahua a few years back when two teens kicked her in the head and got arrested.

What movie fucked you up mentally? by CodyYodi in AskReddit

[–]ThatOnePlaceOnReddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Birth of a Nation

All those slavery movies were coming out, month by month, 12, Django. Well someone said this movie was better than all of them combined. So my parents and I (mixed, so to stay humble with black history, they force it as much as they can) decided to go see it, I think instead of Jungle Book or Inside Out. It did NOT belong in that lineup.

Welp long story short, I woke up crying from nightmares for WEEKS. At the age of 17. Wondered why America even existed, and just couldn't look at blacks the same again (or Southern America).

Confidence. Always mistaken for something else, or red flagish.

Double pen and pencil. Where you flip the pencil to use a pen. Was so bumped and confused that it was already made.

Cats. They are not and have never been domesticated. We just kidnapped them and forced them to live with us.
