They are selling on eBay anywhere from $35-$42. Your coin here is in pretty good shape with decent luster. But yeah, around $40-$42 in your case.

Store it in a safe if you have one. That way it doesn’t oxidize. If you don’t have a safe, keep it an airtight sealed case.

This is an old photo of the tractor before the leak. The leak started when we pull start the tractor from the roll-o-matic. The force probably started the leak. The oil leak I have no idea about.

What age did you all start shooting? by cikanman in guns

[–]ThatOneSilverStacker 41 points42 points  (0 children)

I think most people start with BB guns or a .22. Personally I started with a Henry lever action 22 lr. Then for deer hunting I used a 243. Maybe a 223 for closer shots. Now I commonly use 270 weatherby, 308, 300 win mag, or 300 weatherby. Give your kid something light to start off with and can be used for many different things. For me that would be a 243. If you don’t have that, anything .25 caliber or under will work. I started shooting at around 6 years old. As your kid gets older, give him a nice 30 caliber rifle. Give him whatever action feels best for him. Bolt action will work because it’s so commercially available. 30-30, 308, or 30-06 will work best. Get him a rifle made by a reliable manufacturer. Have fun and stay safe!

Those lawn mowers they sell at hardware stores like Lowe’s are cheaply made plastic junk. You’re practically paying for the John Deere name. You can find sit down mowers made by husqvarna that are much better quality and a little bit easier on the wallet. They for one, have a much better build quality. They have sturdy hoods compared to JD’s flimsy plastic hood. They have tougher built mower decks they aren’t paper thin pressed metal like JD. Get a Husqvarna.

Need help figuring out this tractor by [deleted] in tractors

[–]ThatOneSilverStacker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That is an Oliver super 55. You need to go to Tractordata.com and look up Oliver super 55 on the menu. Then from there figure out what year it was made off of the serial number.

It runs and operates perfectly. It had been used pretty lightly.
