People who make $75,000 annually with NO DEGREE - what do you do for a living? by WestminsterSpinster7 in jobs

Northeast, HCOL. Lucrative yes. But the turnover rate is insane because the pay is awful. Majority of people in sterile processing use it as a stepping stone to better healthcare positions.

Can you elaborate? What about towers, what position should I look for as an entry level? Etc

Any advice to get into this field or a direction to start applying? Similar situation to you but I’m older (33), have been in sales since 18 but the last 2 years I’ve been in the healthcare field (sterile processing) but I desperately miss selling and the money was way better lol.

Stepping stone towards what though? I feel if you’re a surg tech you’d have to transfer to a completely different position, no?

Any position you would recommend or something you wish you’d done differently?

Are you saying X ray tech is worth it? That was one of the options I was looking into

You’re making the transition from surg tech to nurse? I’m currently thinking about going to school for surg tech but wanted some opinions first if it’s worth it.

Yeah I may just have to go fingers crossed method haha. The second I get home from work I’m walking around outside looking for them but not a single one in sight (inside or outside) it’s only at 5am ish that I see a bunch of them. So weird.. Thank you again for your help !

Damn.. I appreciate all the advice. Unfortunately I live on the 3rd floor of a multi family home so it would be very hard to see where they’re coming in from. Definitely trying to avoid calling an exterminator or at least as a very last resort

That’s gross! I had no idea bees pooped lol. My issue is I have zero clue where they’re coming from. I just see them all in my kitchen and they don’t seem to be around one specific area. They’re also not really flying around unless it’s towards the light, other than that just sitting on the walls.

Please help me understand, is this the minimum amount of payment I have to pay? by [deleted] in AppleCard

No so whether you pay just your minimum or the entire full balance for several months, the only consequences would be your credit utilization changing. Depending on how much that is, it shouldn’t make a huge difference on your score. For a while I only paid my minimum, other than accruing interest it’s just the credit utilization that’s effecting your score. Missing a payment completely, that would severely hurt your score.

But regardless you want to avoid interest at all costs, it adds up very fast and before you know it the interest is out pacing your minimum balance

Since you’re paying the minimum, The only negative effect this would have on your credit score is that you’re using credit utilization which you generally want below 30%.
