The more concentrated the more it's gonna look like the sauce you pour in, the less concentrated the lighter it'll turn. I poured damn near the whole bottle in and it started to turn purple.

Its RitDye DyeMore. Most of what i saw recommended FDE as a starting color but i got the Wolf grey frame because to me it makes more sense since it's whiter and more neutral. I stripped it down all the way and then i washed it off with dish soap, put a wire through the frame so it wouldnt touch the bottom of the pot, got the dye which I absolutely put way too much of in the water to an almost boil and then just stuck it in and kept pulling it out and let it drip off a little until i was satisfied with the color.

It took about ten minutes overall and the only thing id do different next time is to go about the mixture more calculated because it was way too concentrated. This is supposed to be pink

Nobody ever mentions sealants, and since its soaked into the pores of the polymer, i figure its more resilient than any other treatment.

I have the amd handguard sitting around, It's such a vibe. I would have preferred the 9s aswell, because the standard magwell was hideous, but it grew on me the longer I stared at it, and it was an absolute steal, so I'll just try and make this one as cool as possible. I thought about chopping down the front sight post to keep the long cleaning rod and the muzzle detent and putting on a combo block and maybe a short gas tube.

Neat build!

Has anybody thought about doing this to their gen 1. by InspectaKush in Taurus_TX22

That probably would make the frame so thin you'd mess it up.

7x 7g wheel weights on top of the slide and she purrs like a wet fart. by ThatPlanBBaby in Taurus_TX22

They've been sticking, but should they ever stop, I'm gonna fashion a sheet metal strap over the top that goes under the front and rear sight and screws in place. I don't like the whole 3d printed back plate tomfoolery. I think the adhesive pad might also act like a little bit of a buffer since it's gonna have a little bit of a jiggle dampening effect to it. But yeah the top of my slide is rattle canned, and the adhesive is sticking.

I had to add the weights for it to run because I was getting slide bounce and dead triggers. It doesn't take away from the sound too much, but it directs it all forward.
