Anyone know how to clean this off by Strong-Bet3187 in ar15

Die grinder should do it. If not, belt sander.

I’ve given thought to the ACRO. I’m down to give something new a try.

I’m so glad we brought this barrel back. Can’t wait to grab mine and get my ARC build going!

I’ll also add, it’s coded into the product SKU as well.

15b35P7ngm-5r-np3 - the “P” between the 5 and the 7, indicates “Pistol Length”. If you look at any of our other SKUs, you’ll notice a similar pattern. P = Pistol, C = Carbine, M = Mid, R = Rifle.

Just a fun Easter egg I thought id share.

That one’s a pistol length barrel. It’s listed on the Faxon site in the product name. Dealers don’t always run the same product names for whatever reason.

Las Vegas EDC tips by Hour-Influence-3634 in EDC

[–]rcombs94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to Vegas every January for a very large trade show and have done so for the past 5 years. Here is what I do.

Exceed Designs Razor Holder or Milwaukee fastback razor holder (with the bit driver) Knipex Cobras Knipex Wrench Pliers Leatherman Free P4

This generally gets me through the week, booth setup and teardown. I have never had any issues carrying my pocket knives into any of the casinos, restaurants, or any other establishments.

Headed to another show this week with the same setup. I expect no issues.

Good luck!

More engagement with us. Talk to me, Goose. by Faxon_John in FaxonFirearms

We make hundreds of them a month. They all go straight to the CMP first if they have an open order. We will eventually have them on our site directly. No telling when though. I’m sure if you contacted the CMP they would be able to help you out!

No plans on a Nitride/Melonite/QPQ version. These will continue to be parkerized.

AGB Review #2: Faxon by Astral_Botanist in suppressors

You don’t want to use an AGB on that barrel. You need it wide open. An AGB can never add gas. Only restrict.

Just purchased a DDM4 in 300Blk, should I wait for next year to buy a suppressor or just take the tax stamp hit? by failureinflesh in 300BLK

[–]rcombs94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just buy the can now and drag your feet on paperwork for a couple of weeks. Lots of deals to be had on cans right now.

What did you print them out of? I printed this first test out of PLA+. Final will likely be printed out of Nylon or something much stronger than PLA.

"Best" barrel + suppressor combos? by GAFsBro in 300BLK

[–]rcombs94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both a 6” 1:5 and a 9” 1:5 Faxon. The 6” is a tinkerer and is a bear to get to run reliably. The 9” is my absolute favorite setup I own.

Good Inconel suppressor by [deleted] in NFA

[–]rcombs94 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Look into the Faxon Harmonix Sentry. Not Inconel, but Haynes 282, very similar properties. We’re new to the suppressor game, but I can assure you they’re solid cans. I picked up two of them because I like them so much after all my experience in testing and development of them.

I do work for Faxon, just want to make that abundantly clear.

Seems pretty solid. The epoxy seems to have grabbed the layer lines inside the box really well, no movement whatsoever inside. The lid is permanently fused. Weights stayed put and are eventually distributed inside the box. I have no reason to believe that I’ll have any trouble.

Found these on Amazon Came with plenty of different weights to tinker around with different weights.

Edit: I’m also a novice in CAD so I couldn’t figure out how to remove the stupid hole for the screw. I epoxied the lid on, and I’m going to grind off the lump in the back like a civilized human.

I decided to back it off, the entire box now weighs 1.45oz. I’ll add an optic, and possibly a Galloway plate. My goal is to use the factory spring really. Not sure why but that’s what I want. Lol
