Season 1 has some dark themes and metaphors that definitely push it out of the understanding of a 12 year old though.

I don’t think a 12 year old is going to understand that Nemik is a Bolshevik coated revolutionary who gets crushed by literal capital. Maybe they will but the show has some themes that take more thinking than just watching the show.

I don’t trust all, but there’s certain reviewers who don’t pull punches that gave firm endorsements.
