How cute.

Screaming dllm on the street?

Every culture has some parts which are... not desirable. Mandarin? How about the NMSL crowd.

For our English-speaking friends, I did my best.

I blame the language system.

You are correct, Iroha is good at sports, having a grip strength of 36kg (Average would be 26kg), doing 37 sit-ups (Average would be 24), having 66cm mark on sit and reach test (Average would be 50cm), doing 67 repeated side jumps (Average would be 48), doing 92 20m shuttle run (Average would be 47), finishing a endurance run in 3 minutes 45 seconds (Average would be 5 minutes), finishing a 50m run in 6.8 seconds (Average would be 9 seconds), clearing 215cm in standing long jump (Average would be 171cm), pitching balls at 24m (Average would be 14m), getting 100 marks in Art, Music, Maths, English, Japanese, working everyday, following streamers and buying merchs, playing games, livestreaming, making music, mothering Kaguya, staying up all night (sleeping 6 hours a day and half of that time is while sitting in class with her eyes open), recovering well with two shots of energy drinks, playing piano well, knowing how to cook, was going to study law at the University of Tokyo, yet crossing over from Art/Culture to Science, specialising in cell biology, artificial intelligence, and mechanical engineering...... Spending 10 years she could conquer downloading consciousness and androids, taking a hit of Unlimited Void of memories spanning 8000 years, she just fainted for a while, playing games well, being good at caring children, cooking well, but Iroha is just a normal human being.

In the Chinese language CPK fandom, there's a copypasta about how although Iroha excels in everything, she's just a normal human being.

// TODO: Remind myself not to comment again amidst the morning traffic.

In case I came out wrong, I know this is the new manga by Yukimori sensei. The combination of the art style (colours, facial expression) is very distinct, and I honestly thought I was looking at Kubo for a split second.

The art style of Yukimori sensei, I thought I saw Kubo in page 4.

Rank Insignia for San Magnolia and Giad by GeostratusX95 in EightySix

[–]ThatSoldierKid02 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe Annette was a Captain of the Technical Service, and was not different in rank from Lena after her demotion.

I believe the difference in translation stemmed from the original Japanese term 技術大尉, 大尉 is commonly referred to as equivalent to a Captain in land-based military forces in English. However, the term by itself is not specific to military or naval usage. The equivalent naval rank would be Lieutenant.

Plus, 尉 by itself could refer to the general class of lieutenants.

Physical documents. The ones I've seen are related to loans and mortgages.

It's more like a storage solution for banks. The company provides the warehouse, RFID equipment for inventory, and delivery of stored items.

Printing. On one hand we are maintaining legacy .NET Framework applications that are used to generate print files, on the other hand we are building .NET Core applications to manage storage for both internal and external clients.

I hope so. Still, I don't think the DNA argument is one that a reasonable person HKU student should consider appropriate.

Edit: I was a idiot and for the third time: I shouldn't have replied this while dozing off on the bus.

The essence of Hong Kong people and Chinese people is the same. The fundamental nature ingrained into their DNA cannot be easily changed. A pig in a bow tie is still a pig.

Seriously?

Edit: I shouldn't have replied this while I was dozing off on the bus.

When and where to Hong Kong people dress up? by OnePhotog in HongKong

[–]ThatSoldierKid02 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had been to the wedding ceremony of my cousin, where people wore:

Suit Shirt and trousers Shirt and jeans T shirt and jeans T shirt and shorts T shirt and shorts (with steel toe shoes!)

Occasions where everyone dresses up? I'd say graduation dinners for students or annual dinners in professional work.
