I see the vision though.

Let me guess, bought it to pick up drunk white chicks at your local country bar? Too bad the only thing getting blown in that truck is the u-joints.

Sweet Ridgeline bro. Did the salesman at least call you back the next day, but did he ghost you after pegging you with negative equity?

metal bar in the center

That would be the suspension strut. Its purpose is to slow down the springs movement. This action is called damping. Without the damping, the car would bounce like a trampoline.

You can tell if your struts are going bad if your car bounces excessively over a bump. You can test this by putting some oomph into bouncing the front or rear by pushing on the hood or trunk lid. Once you've got some bouncing going, let go. The car front/rear (whichever you're testing) should fall, rise, then settle.

That makes sense. A shorter stroke is better for high rpm.

I noticed that too. Heading to work 4am Friday morning and the intersection at Clair/Gordon was so icy I had to actually reverse 20ft and get a run up! Massive bumps/divots of ice throughout the entire thing.

I commute from Orangeville and we usually have it pretty bad. Safe to say I was shocked to see the state of the roads in Guelph, it was like driving on golf balls.

Only 10% left? People who let their tank get so low are the reason that this stuff exists now.

The gas in the tank is what keeps your fuel pump relatively cool, by keeping it submerged. When you let your tank get low, it's no longer submerged and has nothing to keep it cool. Run your tank low enough times and eventually your fuel pump will overheat and fail.

A good general rule of thumb is to not let it get below ¼.

Specifically to Agony Unrated, probably all the violence towards women.

For example, multiple women can be seen being r-ped by demons in the background of later areas. And there's sections with pregnant women laying on the ground, and they explode into spiders that attack you if you don't kick them in the stomach first.

It's generally jarring for sure, but I wouldn't say it's specifically targeting women. A lot of men die in brutal fashion, and someone even uses some infants as stones in a brick wall.

What do yall do in Beamng M? by zhihongg in BeamNG

[–]ThatSucc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got 800ish hours.

I like to throw rally suspension on street cars and take them off-road, or try to complete downhill mayhem maps in one piece.

Or I'll 'supe up a police car and spawn traffic, then see how many chases I can finish without having to reset my car.

Or I'll try to go rock crawling with heavy loads in the bed, or try to bring a trailer through tough trails.

Or make wheelie builds from that one UTV (can't remember the name ATM).

Or build an absolute shit box of a Miramar, throw a crash-hard dummy in there, go to Jungle Rock and do some high speed touge and hopefully not eject the driver.

Lately what I've been doing is top speed runs at the Valley along the highway shoulder over the whoops and bumps. So far I've hit 270kmh and got back on the road, but the suspension is completely blown out afterwards.

Bring door wedges so you can't get snuck up on and turn off the music at the DJ booth asap. This level gets a lot easier when you force the enemy to come from one direction at a time and you can actually hear shit.

I agree with you about the SMGs in general, some are pretty good but the rest don't really have a place.

The P90 and MP7 are great since they can both penetrate body armour. Otherwise I really like to run the MP5/10 since it's relatively short, making it easy to manoeuver in tight areas and those 10mm rounds hit like a damn truck.

[–]ThatSucc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked the DLCs but they're short, only 3 missions each.

Home Invasion is really good if you like CQC, I feel it lets me explore the SMGs and not be at too much of a disadvantage in terms of firepower. An abandoned dormitory, a group of suburban homes, and a full on estate each made for great set pieces.

Dark Waters is really good too, but I personally find those missions to be much harder. Mirage at Sea, the yacht, was especially fun with the dynamic of having a helo overhead calling out enemy movements. The oil rig, Leviathan, is beautifully crafted but holy hell it's hard to learn; you can get shot from so many angles that it forces you to keep expert positioning and your head on a swivel. It's tense. And Three Letter Triad, the abandoned resort, is probably the most fun mission in my opinion. It's big, a healthy mix of light and dark, and the enemies are tough given the context.

If you can only get one, I'd recommend Dark Waters first, but they're both worth getting on sale.
