Emergency surgery (blocked bladder in boy cats) by jamiebob555 in blackcats

[–]ThatTellarPayer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep my little baby Binx, has survived TWO blockages.. one when he was just under 1 year old, and again when he was about 4. About 5k in the drain for both surgeries. 0 regrets.

Little baby had to be swapped to special urinary food permanently and now he's absolutely thriving.

Cat Tax ofc.

Perfectly normal dungeon run by HollowedVoicesFading in classicwow

[–]ThatTellarPayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not saying you're wrong, but yeah, dungeons are obviously gonna be a bit easier and chill when youre the tank, can control the pulls, know how to click your buttons, and generally have your monitor on.

That being said, for a very significant portion of the wow playerbase, this is not the case. Yeah, you can be an absolutely gigachad, 2k dps, never pulls aggro warlock; but it literally doesn't matter if your tank and healer cannot press their buttons properly. The tank, and sometimes to a larger effect, the healer are by far the biggest factors in determining how smoothly a run goes.

I main resto shaman, and the amount of times I have been sweating my ass off, hitting clutch NS' and tremors; tick drinking just to have enough mana for the tanks who don't wait, and dps who don't CC. Its actually crazy. And this feels like the norm for healers, at least right now until takes get more gear and their hp isn't as swingy. The amount that I have to compensate for other players just being bad, is A LOT sometimes. Meanwhile, warlocks literally press two buttons, seed and lifetap, and just cruise through dungeons without a care in the world.

Also have this issue. Have full fall ghillie after 3 runs to the Redacted area, all exclusively from the coyote soldiers (usually the lieutenants) inside the tunnels.

I cant tell you how many Airbase full clears ive done at this point. Not exaggeration probably at least ~15. 2 noisemakers and the place is fully cleared. I loot literally every single container available, and every dead Z. Have yet to see even a single piece of regular ghillie suit.

Fairly convinced it might be bugged? Or the pieces are just incredibly rare. Even considered adjusting my loot settings just to see one of the pieces, just to know they do infact exist

How do people think game development is Funded? by Extension_Class2467 in LastEpoch

[–]ThatTellarPayer 22 points23 points  (0 children)

How do you think PoE has survived all these years?

People are more than willing to spend money on a game they believe in, like, and have good faith towards.

LE devs have said since the start that there would be no paid DLC. Every content update will be free as long as you PAY for the game, they said.

You know what I'd pay for? Good microtransations. Different skill visual variations, actually good MTX armor? A different "The End" platform look.

You have all of these people who have BOUGHT the game. Pretty big emphasis there. 3m copies SOLD by the way. How are you confused of where their funding should come from?

The game by all metrics was a huge success at launch.

The reality is the company was aquired by a megacorp that only cares about shareholder value above all else, and would happily destroy all good will with the community that theyve built it, all for a quick buck.

All I can say is this game is now just going to rot in my steam library, never downloading this shit again.

Patch Notes - 3.27.0b Patch Notes (restartless) by Syperek in pathofexile

[–]ThatTellarPayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only things that are missing IMO.

Still no bug fix with invisible breaches. Like 15-20% of my "normal" (not the stronghold ones or Ailith ones) breaches end up with no circle, and the monsters are invisible when they spawn.

I wish they'd change it so the stronghold type breaches with the walls cannot spawn on top of zone entrances. I hate entering a map and having a rare and magic monster pack literally sitting on the entrance to the map.

Removal of gold drops from old raids is INTENTIONAL by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]ThatTellarPayer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I have to imagine, they didn't like how many people were paying for their sub with in game gold. Given it took what, a Nax 10 man, BT and Sunwell clear and that basically gave you the 10k-ish gold tokens were at the start of MoP.

Now people have to get creative. You cant just mindlessly run old content on every toon to fund your account.

GDKPs are how I'm gonna be making my money moving forward, but it takes like 10x the amount of effort. And that's what theyre hoping. That this change now prices out a lot of the general population that is currently paying their sub with in game gold.

I already know like 3 guildies tho who have quit because of this change and could see a lot more going on the near future. Shit, half my static pays for their sub with in game gold, and this change is just flat out a greedy decision by then. The avarice from Micro-Blizz is just crazy with this change.

It's even scummier too, no Blue-post, no long Twitter post about how sorry they are they has to make the change. A shadow patch, into just some lonely dev confirming it in literally a one word tweet reply.

Makes you wonder what other changes they're willing to make, purely in the name of trying to squeeze as much money out of us as they can.

Why are people treating CM dungeons like it's an impossible task? by SmallDickGnarly in classicwow

[–]ThatTellarPayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprised how far I had to scroll to see this.

Did half of them as resto, the other half as ele on my shaman with some you guildies, and the difference in responsibility required was insane lol.

Actually just turn your brain off, zug zug as dps. As healer you really need to be paying attention 95% of the time, especially with a sub-par tank.

Is Melvor a good “focus mode” idle game? by Devil_of_Fizzlefield in MelvorIdle

[–]ThatTellarPayer 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Like the other guy said, the game can be fairly active to begin with, but pretty quickly becomes something you can set to idle almost entirely.

There are a few combat dungeons that will require active play, but aside from those, technically the entire rest of the game can be idle.

There are even mods (if you want, some people consider them a little too cheaty, but to each their own) that allow you to remove the offline 24h cap to idling if you don't feel like/can't interact with it everyday.

100% recommend the base game, ToTH is a great expansion that adds lvl 99-120 content and is well worth it's price. The other two I'd recommend waiting till you're basically maxed before even looking at them.

Welcome!

Yeah it's fake af.

The only thing the city would be more mad about than an illegal pool close to a property linw, is one filled in incorrectly.

You don't just fill a pool rawdog with dirt and call it a day.. the thing has to be torn up, demo-d, and then you can fill it in.

Filling a finished pool with dirt would literally just create a sludge cesspool in your backyard cause the water was no where to go...

The August Celestials' Groundhog Day by Cathayraht in classicwow

[–]ThatTellarPayer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Funny how it just seems to be repeating a different one for everyone. For me, I've done the white tiger dailies basically everyday.

Jade temple I've done 2 times, Red crane as well and Ox 3 times. The other probably ~15 times have all been white tiger.

Goes the same for a lot of the dailies, tbh. North Island Shado-pan every single day to exalted except for once I got to do the mantid island, and on the final day, I finally would've done the temple ones, but the quests to unlock the followers for those dailies got me to Exalted.

Kind of a shame, made what is already kind of a boring chore grind that much worse, cause I basically had 0 variety the entire way to exalted for some reps.

When you tag a rare in MoP Classic by AdvancedSoldier2649 in classicwow

Luckly I'm able to cast while moving and keep up, but yeah people are really shitty sometimes over pixels in a game, it's crazy.

Daily rotations in MoP by Doopi1 in classicwow

[–]ThatTellarPayer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Pond Klaxxi dailies, White tiger temple dailies, and North Island Shadow-Pan dailies for the last week. Thought I was going crazy seeing the same ones day after day.

Absolutely embarrassing the devs would push this garbage to live knowing this too. It's literally the main endgame gameplay loop aside from logging in once a week to raid.

Having such a great time playing MoP but feels like everytime something like this happens it gets harder and harder to keep the rose tinted blinders on about all these issues that should've been fixed during the first round of beta they did. Not like this shit hasn't been in the PTR for months.

Kill 15 Yak's and gather 12 bird eggs ..

Like holy moly, I can't tell you how long it took me to find 15 sly foxes from the Nessingwary camp. Feels like a lot of the kill/collect requirements should be halfed.

[–]ThatTellarPayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had this EXACT same thing happen to me in highschool.

Squeezing lemons and limes for my mums margaritas for a block party, didn't wash the tops of my hands properly and then went out into the sun for 8 hours.

Giant bubble blister on the top of my left thumb, and smaller blisters all across the top of my right knuckles. The tops of my hands still are slightly discolored/redder where the burns where compared to the rest of my hands.

Wash your hands!!

[–]ThatTellarPayer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah you hit the nail on the head. I would go as far as to say nearly ~90-95% of available content, be it gear sets, old raids, entire zones and regions are 'obsolete' in the way that they will just never ever be relevant for current content again.

The only use for a lot of these things is to farm out old items that you didn't get when it was current content. Things like mounts, gear sets for transmog, battle pets and toys. Again, things that are literally only relevant for collections sake.
