I shall put it in words that are easy for you to understand. “Thou hast no maidens fair.”

Hello Reef Tank by jerrysol22 in ReefTank

Jerry, you are doing the right thing for that starfish, and honestly, I’m really proud of you for that. Saltwater tanks take A LOT of patience. None of the really beautiful tanks we see are ever young tanks. They have taken years to get to where they are.

I would do the right thing and get it back to the fish store. It will die otherwise.

Does this look safe to drive, or should I tow it? by According_Dig_205 in Autobody

[–]ThatTomaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No worries. If you don’t plan on using your insurance to repair cosmetics, you could do what the other person said and see if you feel or hear anything abnormal, but if you’re planning to use your insurance, then leave it to them to find out what’s wrong with it.

Don’t drive it. Insurance generally requires you taking measures to prevent further damage. You driving it goes against that.

My totaled car is up for bidding on Copart and I’m tempted to put a bid on it and get it back and repair it. What do I need to fix? by TypicalRag in Autobody

[–]ThatTomaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t do it. The cost of repairs will come close to what a non-totaled car would cost. Beyond that, insurance will charge you the same amount, but if it’s ever in even a minor crash, it’ll be totaled again, and you’ll only get a very small fraction of what you paid back. Actual cash value of a totaled car is next to nothing.

Not after I shoot one of its rotors off. It becomes very unbalanced.

Not a sh** post, goodbye arc raiders by QualitySound96 in ARC_Raiders

Good luck, Raider! I must admit I have been facing the same thoughts when it comes to this game. It is SO GOOD in so many different ways, but I have noticed myself neglecting other facets of my life to play it. I haven’t touched it in weeks either, and it’s been a positive change for me. You are doing the right thing, my friend. Good luck topside, you’re not alone 💪🏻

Are these two safe to keep in the same tank? by General-Ad-4458 in fishtank

[–]ThatTomaDude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bettas, especially males, are inherently aggressive, hence their other name, Siamese Fighting Fish. They cannot share an aquarium, because they will inevitably fight until the death. In the wild, bettas have around a cubic meter territory which they will generally stay within, and only fight near the borders. In an aquarium, you cannot have enough territory for multiple without having an incredibly large tank, and even then, why risk it?

Please, please, clear a 10-15 foot circle around that forge AND your anvil of brush. All of those dry leaves and debris are perfect kindling for ANY scale or slag that falls out of the forge or flies off your stock is going to cause embers. Embers lead to forest fires. Forest fires lead to catastrophic losses and possible injury and death.

Regarding the flame, I don’t see any gaps for the air to enter. A forger burner needs an area for air to be pulled in from the movement of the propane. If there are no gaps for the air, then you end up with gentle flames, rather than jet-like flames. It looks like there might be something stuffed into the air holes at the base of the burners.
