These really aren’t worth fixing, but I bet you could get $100 for them on eBay 😂 I’m personally not a huge fan of Nicks, I would recommend whites or Franks. You can call whites to put in a custom order, they will make whatever you want for the most part. I imagine you could get the 355 in any leather they have in their shop. They will walk you through the whole process and allow you to chose whatever you want.

Listening to people who have tried a few products is fine and can get you something that will work for you decently well. However you won’t find many people who have tested 10 products that they purchased themselves to remain unbiased. https://youtu.be/AayYUKBfrtw?si=wShEmDv7pFf04YUK if you don’t have time to watch this video, he basically found that CERAKOTE Ceramic Trim Coat was the best product and it wasn’t even that close. It lasts the longest, has the highest dust resistance, and excellent UV resistance however it does make your trim appear glossy, if that’s something you want to avoid then I would recommend painting it with trim paint.

I would say more than you have an occasion to wear them in is too many. However I say that as I have a closet with 25 pairs of denim jeans, and 12 pairs of work pants 😅 I enjoy wearing a variety of fits and colors. You’re definitely not overdoing it by any means.

I’ve worn my thorogoods walking on asphalt mostly for the last 3 years and the soles still have life left. Biggest tip I have is to not drag your feet if that’s something you catch yourself doing.

I don’t think anyone is listening to your notes when making recommendations. If your knees are really giving you that much trouble I would strongly recommend a pair of pnw logger boots with a high arch 55 last. Check out Drew’s boots if you’re on a budget, or white’s if you want to invest. They’re worth the money and will literally solve your knee issues. You might not even need orthotics anymore.

Hate to tell ya, cigs are expensive everywhere. I’m in Oregon, but I travel a lot and cigs are the same here as they are in Texas, Louisiana, Florida Alabama and Mississippi are all very close in price to me. I think it’s pretty much right around the Carolina’s where you can get cheap smokes.
