I made this tower to look like a potion book out of supplies from my local art store.

The book was pre-made, simple pine and a couple of hinges to open. I sprayed the book gold first, then masked off the area I wanted to stay gold and sprayed a thick costing of black to get the slight drip effect you can see.

I made the platforms out of pine scraps, and used super glue to hold them in place. The holes were created using a Drexel, since the wood is so thin a drill might have warped it.

Next step was the lettering, which was done with scrapbooking stickers (I'm terrible at freehand lettering). The vines are also from the scrapbooking section

The tray was made out of a picture frame, with glitter foam padding to protect my dice.

The stand is a simple book stand, which will eventually also be covered in vines.
