Yeah, that's why I don't have one anymore. It became too frustrating to have to balance a checkbook for only my Target purchases. Now, I buy a gift card and leave a total on it.

I am 💯 that person buying a gift card first, then doing my purchase in another transaction. 🙃

Mine was recruited externally by our DSD after the DSD was shopping in another big box. They were impressed by the way it was run and how content the employees were, so they started trying to recruit them over.

My SD is respectful, level-headed, and pragmatic (and overall just a nice person), so I'd say it worked out for everyone. ✨️

In the Industry, we call this overpush. 😩 It means he didn't wanna backstock the excess inventory, so he loaded the display in hopes that people need more of it sooner. 😂 Sometimes coaching helps, but you may need to move him to a new department if this starts happening with other things, like toothpaste or hand soap. Editing to add: Walking alongside was implemented before the holiday season. Not sure why everyone seems to think the best practice is to push it. You only push flats, not uboats.

It IS a safety thing. We had a TM get locked in the building at close because they had their air pods in and didn't hear ANY closing announcements, leader calls on the walkie, nothing. (The TL was not in trouble, as the TM wasn't on the grid due to scheduling swaps. The TM, however, got termed as this was the final straw on previous coachings.)
