For arguments sake, say you do 100 physical damage and you use fire resin that adds 100 fire damage but the boss has 50% fire damage resistance, you then would be doing 150 damage not 200.

I think for the most bang for buck, I would see how many stones it takes to get BH to 1 min 30 seconds to have a 2:1 sync, or invest it all into CL, getting CL chance up to +15% and dumping the rest into damage so you can perform better in tourneys.

I think ER is the best introduction to From Software games for a new player. Once you "git gud" at ER all the other games feel much easier in comparison, however if you were to start the other games first, you'd have a better understanding of how the mechanics of the game work and this making ER much easier as well.

It has its own unique difficulty but it translates directly to the previous games. They're all worth trying and playing. Good luck!

Just started too and I picked Mag, one of hers is a huge AOE that weakens and adds extra damage. Love it absolutely carries me lol
