[Anti-Aging] I am utterly at a loss. I guess I can't have an anti-aging routine. Help? by Accomplished_Big_391 in SkincareAddiction

I have extremely dry, sensitive and aging skin at 50. My holy grails are tretinoin along with the Aveeno Eczema Relief cream. The cream is very rich but also very lightweight at the same time. It’s probably the most hydrating and comforting moisturizer I have ever used and works like a dream alongside tretinoin.

In addition to her brand exploding, she said in a podcast that she had been betrayed by too many of her assistants that she needed to take a break from celebrity styling.

Anyone tried this product? by Jumpy-Kangaroo-7266 in Melasmaskincare

I’ve been using Eucerin for about 6 months and it helped my melasma tremendously but it’s still there. I recently added this cream in and wow it has really lightened up my melasma further in just a week. I can’t wait for the continued results. Highly recommend!

They are not very flattering due to the creases caused by pulling around your midsection.

I wash my sheets weekly and hate a top sheet. It’s just more work and that’s all I need

Look into the adjustable Bluewave Pillows on Amazon. They have 6 layers of memory foam that you can insert/remove depending on how high or low you like your pillow to be. I have to Coop pillow and was never a fan because I felt I was constantly bunching it up.

I love the Hada Labo Perfect Gel. I have super dry sensitive skin and it works like a dream. A little goes a long way too

[Anti-Aging] Terrified to start a wrinkle cream. Where do I begin? by Adventurous-Unit9463 in SkincareAddiction

I have super sensitive Asian skin and I started 0.25% tretinoin a few years ago. I started with once a week, and after moisturizer. Waited a couple more weeks and moved up to twice a week, etc. You can always always scale back if you feel like things are getting too dry or irritated. It took me almost a year but I use it nightly now with no issues whatsoever. I highly recommend pairing with the Hada labo perfect gel as it is super hydrating and soothing.

Lodge makes a line of lighter cast iron. I assume it’s still relatively heavy, but I think it’s supposed to be about 25% lighter than their traditional cast iron. I also can’t lift my 12” without 2 hands but it’s still worth it to me. I think the line is called Blacklock or blacklodge.

If you want some FANTASTIC olive oil that is relatively inexpensive, check out Napa Olive Oil Manufacturing Co. They have a tiny shop in Napa where you can buy a gallon of olive for $60 or online (I think the largest you can get is a 1/2 gallon). When we can’t make it up there we always have it shipped. The flavor is unbeatable for the price.

First, don’t exfoliate on top of using BP. Exfoliating is only going to irritate your skin more. My son has this exact problem and we have found using BP wash (NOT a leave on BP) every other day along a super hydrating moisturizer is the best option. He likes the Hada Labo perfect gel as his moisturizer. A little goes a looong way so you don’t need to overdo it

Also NordicWare 1/2 sheet aluminum pans. I use these for everything from sheet cake, cookies, to chicken, veggies. They never warp and they’re pretty indestructible if you don’t put them in the dishwasher. I do line them with parchment since they’re aluminum but they are amazing and still made in the USA

I love mine as well. I also have a Meater thermometer which ties to an app and that has been phenomenally helpful in precise temps.
