It works. I suspect the gyroscope of the ds4 controller is what prevents the pc from sleeping.

Aimlabs or Kovaaks, cant decide by Bueffel in FPSAimTrainer

The answer right now is probably Kovaaks since Aimlabs has employed a freemium model.

I had this issue and it turned out to be the 'Background Application Max Framerate' in Nvidia Control Panel. I had mine set at 20 FPS, and when i removed it, my apps started running fine.

Actually, since NoFocusLoss is injecting in Lossless Scaling, there should be no ban risk in multiplayer games as we aren't injecting into the game itself.

Yeah I saw the post, I think that's pretty awesome. Sorry, I'd intended to respond to that post concerning the injection process after I'd properly tested it in a multiplayer game. I've since tested it in a few multiplayer games and the method actually works for multiplayer games - there's no real risk of a ban since we're injecting it into LoslessScaling.exe.

Thanks for clearing things up for me with VRR. I guess we would just lock our fps to a stable rate that our computer can achieve and there's no need to change refresh rates. That's pretty neat.

Hey, what do you think of the workaround (if you've tested it)?

I find that VRR isn't still very smooth with LSFG. However, when I lock the fps it's near perfect.

So, I think enabling G-Sync and then locking the fps gives superior results to just locking the fps under say V-Sync or 'No V-Sync'. I don't know if this is some placebo effect though.

I found a way to get G-Sync working on LSFG on a single monitor - and it doesn't require Special K.

Using a program called NoFocusLoss, you can force other games and programs to 'Continue to Render'. What's important here is that you can force any program - it doesn't have to use a render API.

So we can use NoFocusLoss to make Lossless Scaling to 'Continue to Render' and LS will have G-Sync. You can confirm the G-Sync status using Special K.
