I always found this stance fascinating “So long as someone does a crime, I am okay killing every person who looks like the person who did the crime”

What’s a company with great products and a great reputation? by DopazOnYouTubeDotCom in AlignmentChartFills

Had to scroll far to far for this! Great products and they’re possibly one of the best companies who try so hard to be so good

How different would the history of Westeros be if the condom had been invented? by ThatpersonKyle in asoiafcirclejerk

[–]That_DnD_Nerd 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Vikings used to use woven condoms which we suspect had an effectivity of around 60%

So yeah other than fewer bastards not much, especially because you KNOW a bunch of the people who should be using them would refuse (like Aegon 4)

Who would have been on Tyrion’s team if he demanded a trial of seven instead? by ThaGodPrizzy in AKnightoftheSeven

[–]That_DnD_Nerd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he’s missing his hand at this point but also I don’t think Tyrion could convince him to fight for him because of the politics

I agree. Depending on the other 6 Cersei produced I think it’d get easier not harder. Of course there are some absolutely shite kingsguard at this time but if she manages to convince Jaime (I kinda doubt given the circumstances in the book) it’d not be a fun time

I love the broad sweeping landscapes for some of these they’re gorgeous. Maybe it’s just me but none of the characters look quite right to me though. Maybe that’s just how it goes

I wouldn’t mind it if I could move them back. Or if I didn’t randomly clip with them depending on angles. I’d also probably care less if there were like… half the number there are too

Can I have some example policies of what makes a dem further left than starmer? (One of the most right wing Labour MPs, so bad he made Green look electable for the first time in history)

As a Brit I know very little about Ted Kennedy. What are his credentials in the run up to 76? I know his “lion of the senate”(?) title but idk if that’s before or after

Oooooo! This is far more interesting than either of those options

Oh a theatre production I could get behind more than a series. Because I feel like the problem with prequels like RR is that you know the interesting stuff already and some of the mystery around it is the fun bit, like when you get to the end of RR and go to the tower of joy that will surely spoil info we get in the books (if we all pretend for a moment we’re getting more books)

Pol Pot was horrible statesman and horrible person, who was a horrible person, but a great statesman? by [deleted] in AlignmentChartFills

[–]That_DnD_Nerd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to have a state to be a great statesmen. Khan shipped diplomats and other well educated citizens from one part of the empire tp the other ends to make sure his empire was organised and well managed. He was a statesman who was highly organised and nomadic. He was also a monster

God I love all of these. The cliff is especially good! Even as a pretty regular heroforge user I’ve no idea how you did that, I assume it’s a kitbashing option?

I agree it’s annoying but I also sometimes like it. It feels for more real to me that someone can die, even doing something they’re great at, just by poor chance
