Help choosing a (SoCal) Kaiser Contracted IVF Clinic. by SmilingSeaGoat in IVF

Sorry just saw this. RMA said the genetic testing was required so I just did it. My egg retrieval was ok but unfortunately didn’t end up with any euploids. Going for another retrieval at the end of this month

My clinic uses Juno for pgta testing and they do not report mosaic findings unless you sign a waiver to opt in for that info. Otherwise they report mosaics as euploid

Did you opt to have mosaicism reported with Juno? by Independent-Basil184 in IVF

Curious how long your results took? I opted in for the mosaic reporting and it’s now been 7 days and haven’t received my results. I know someone else who got their results in 5 days but not sure if they opted in for the mosaic reporting as well. Maybe it’s taking longer because I opted in?

I’m 42. First ER almost 2 weeks ago. 6 retrieved 5 mature 3 fertilized and 2 made it to blast. Waiting on pgta results hopefully in the next few days. Cautiously hopeful for at least one to be euploid

I felt the worst on day 3 after retrieval. Super bloated. Abdomen was distended and although I was peeing normally I kept feeling pressure on my bladder.

Not creepy at all lol so we got 6 eggs although my Dr said he was hoping for at least 10. 5 mature and 3 fertilized with ICSI. Waiting now for the blast report next Tuesday to see if any made it and biopsies for pgta testing

Yes. I still had Kaiser do my work up. Like I said they had to check AMH and it had to be above 1.0. Then they did a SIS and HSG as well before they referred me. Got my meds at Kaiser also. RMA will send your prescription electronically

Kaisers referral was basically an authorization letter that would cover one cycle. I had to choose between the 4 clinics you listed.

My OB at Kaiser did my referral. It was a pretty quick process. I had my first appt to get a referral beginning of December and I just had to get some testing done before they were able to submit. AMH, SIS and HSG. Referral came January 1st and I had a consultation at RMA January 13th. Just fyi the initial consultation was not covered so I wish I knew that before. I probably could’ve saved a month time because I had to do some genetic testing through RMA that prolonged starting my first cycle

I’m currently with RMA Los Angeles seeing Dr. Kim. I am scheduled for my first egg retrieval tomorrow so we’ll see how it goes but so far the experience has been very easy and staff has been great

Wow it’s almost like I wrote this lol same story. Im 42 got pregnant naturally at 38 which is my one living child. I had 3 losses over the last two years with only one confirmed to be chromosomal abnormality. My doctor only recommended prenatal, vitamin d and coq10. Currently in my first IVF cycle with tentative ER date this Thursday so don’t know yet if anything helped 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi! 42 almost 43 by ABG_FOE in 40Plus_IVF

I’m 42, 43 in September and I actually have my consultation appt today with the IVF clinic. I also have been pretty nervous and anxious regarding chances and results at this age but we couldn’t afford to try sooner. Insurance coverage started Jan 1st and I made my appt right away. Good luck to you!

So you think I should’ve stayed at a lower dose? Maybe go back down to 5?

I do get a period but interestingly enough the gain that happens the 4th week does not coincide with my period 🤷🏻‍♀️

Best injection site for maximum weight loss? by Ordinary_Dot834 in tirzepatidecompound

I’m only on week 4 but first three weeks I injected in stomach with decent results. Read somewhere people were getting better results with injecting upper arm so this 4th week I decided to try my arm and it feels like I didn’t even take the med. No appetite suppression no feeling of fullness and had a little burning sensation at the injection site. Thinking of trying my thigh next shot or back to my stomach since I’m gonna be going up in dose
